Aliens Vs Predator for the Xbox 360. I've completed the single missions for each character but I need to collect all the audio diaries etc, so need to give it another go. I'm also constantly playing on-line Ranked Mode to try and unlock all the skins! That's proving very time consuming and at times tedious. I've played pretty much every day since it's release and still have skins to unlock. I'm now at rank level 43.

I preferred part 2 but that one was partly in 3D.

I'll go for The Great Escape. Although I also love Viewpoint (worst name for a shmup ever, why didn't they go the whole hog and call it "Isometric"?). And Syndicate. And Jungle Strike. And Marble Madness. And Civilization 2.

Ach, bugger it, The Great Escape gets my vote.

Sim City 2000. I never really liked management games, and I still don't now. But there was something about this game that I just couldn't tear myself away from. I must've spent a whole glorious summer playing this. Good times.

Got to be Populous II on the Amiga for me. I remember it getting something like 96% in Amiga Format and I couldn't wait to get it. Then I was mildly disappointed, until I really got to grips with it. Fantastic after that and I'd love to play it again now.

And Desert Strike on the Amiga and Megadrive were great. Both outstanding versions but the Megadrive one just edges it because it was better with a pad than a joystick.

That has to be "Solstice: The Quest for the Staff of Demnos". I love this game's graphics and music (the intro song is one of the best tunes ever on the NES). It's a challenge to beat this game too and making a map is essential to beat it.

Skeleton Krew on the Mega Drive - must've finished that game over a hundred times, but the messy goryness of it all keeps bringing me back. I've yet to meet someone else who enjoys that game, somehow.

I had it on the Amiga, and I liked it. I thought the graphics and music were good, too.
