I got arrested in John Menzies once. We were mitching off school and my mate stole a cricket ball (I hate cricket!).....I walked out of the shop while he did it thinking it would rid me of any responsibility! Anyway, we left the shop and seemed to think we'd gotten away with it, unfortunately we were in St Davids Centre (they only arrest you once you've left the arcade), hand on my shoulder, the rest is history! After a very long lecture in the office we got taken away in a RIOT VAN! We were only 12! Spent 4 hours in a cell censored myself as I knew my mum would freak out. She wasn't happy and barely spoke to me for days, it was the last time I stole anything. John Menz-eeees!!!

My beautiful and thoughtful girlfriend came home yesterday with Retro Gamer Collection Vol 4 for me.. was half price in WH SMiths..

and there I was trying to read through every article in the last 4 or 5 issues, now I have a flipping great book to get through

thanks for this tip - i went in to my local smith's today and got the hardware (2?) and 3 & 4 today, all half price. still had a couple of each of 3 & 4 on the shelf too. nothing anywhere to say they were half price or anything, but scan through at half price...

Where was that? They have nowt in Maidstone Smiths.. they had none in Bluewater at Xmas either..
