A great article to one of my favourite games!
Besides the SNES conversion which I was previously unaware of, Tiertex also did the Philips CD-i conversion. Now being a fan of the game I have to say this was the worst version but Tiertex probably did a damned good job considering the technical constraints of a base case CD-i machine without using the expanded memory from a Digital Video Cartridge upgrade. I haven't trawled the forums for any other threads concerning Flashback and more importantly any replies from the testers or developers themselves but if your reading this then i'd love to hear from you especially if you worked upon the CD-i conversion.
My own interest in this peculiar retro platform resulted in The Black Moon Project which has alot of resources about the CD-i games. You can check out the Box Art and some Promotional Footage from this direct link to the Flashback Game Page. As you may have noticed the credits seem to cover the core crew of Delphine Software alone with only a "Special Credit" to Tiertex Limited. If possible i'd like to talk to the people that actually created the CD-i version and give due credit.
