Starglider 128k on the spectrum was just amazing , a really cool package , graphics are so smooth and featured the best speech on any speccy game i can remember.

Hmm, either Starglider II or Midwinter II or The Pawn. All really great games. I'll opt for Midwinter II: great mixture of strategy, action and adventure!

Plenty of choices. Starglider 2 on the amiga. An atmospheric 3D shooter with some strategy.

All the Magnetic Scrolls adventures equally, with The Pawn most equal (just for being first, I like Guild of Thieves the most).

Weird Dreams...I was fascinated by it when I saw it on ITV's Saturday morning kid's show Motormouth, and jealous of all my 16-bit owning friends when it was released. Having finally played it via emulation recently, I'm slightly disappointed...but it's still the only Rainbird game I can remember playing, and so by default it's my favourite!

Weird Dreams was so off the wall! Although its not my favourite Rainbird game, but it deserves a mention!

My favourite has to be Midwinter II on the Amiga, such a classic!

Starglider - it was the first bit of sampled music I heard on my Atari ST.

I loved The Pawn & Guild of Thieves but I'm going for the epic, Midwinter. A vast, technical and gorgeous looking game that seriously impressed me. Anyone for a scenic cable car ride, taking in the majesty of the wintry Midwinter wonderland? Awesome and appropriately seasonal! I'm going to break my Amiga out of the loft!

Elite Plus? I'm not sure if I played Starglider or not. I haven't played any other of their releases, but going through their catalog, that's something I'm remedy very soon!

I honestly can't look any further than Starglider, one of the very first games to show the 128k Speccy for the C64 beater it was.

Starglider on the Spectrum 128K really blew me away when I first played it, but I would have to go for Carrier Command, the Spectrum version really is an excellent conversion by Reatime, took ages to complete, slowly creeping up the map and keeping out of the enemy carriers way, until armed to the teeth, and blowing it out of the water, astonishing!

Starglider II on the Amiga 500 it has to be one the first open world games out there. Especially with the cheat activated by typing "we are on a mission from god". Top game

Carrier Command - not for the ST or the Amiga versions , but for the humble Speccy. Quite how this enormous game was crammed under the hood of a 128k Speccy I'll never know,

looking at the lists that i've seen so far... none of them i don't think. :? not sure there was any conscious decision behind that, maybe just wasn't into those types of games at the time, or just didn't stumble across them at the time perhaps!
