Could pick almost any of them.. really loved the Magnetic Scrolls adventures but for me it has to be Starglider 2 on the Amiga.. Space Whales anyone? :)

"The OCP Art Studio" on the Spectrum. I honed my graphics making skills using this and it, in the end, helped me get my job at Ocean. It came with the dreaded 'lenslok' anti-piracy device and it was the most expensive piece of software I bought. It cost £14.95 back in the day. I bought it on the 3rd of January 1986, I still have the receipt in the box, obviously bought with the proceeds of my Christmas 1985 money! :)

Got to be StarGlider on the ST - it was pretty much the first game to feel immersive in the 16 bit era...

Although I also voted for Starglider on the ST, I also loved The Guild of Thieves.

I remember getting it when I got my ST for Christmas and its only now that I know how to finish it (couple of puzzles I just could never get my head round back then)

Pity I dont have the game anymore - or the ST :(

My favourite Rainbird game is Starglider, the difference bewteen the c64 and the AtariST version was enough for me to buy an ST.

Starglider on the C64 for me was the dogs danglies. Not that I knew what the bugger to do, of course, but I learnt all about crashing spectacularly :D
