Special Treat for hitting 2,000 profiles

Postby Darran@Retro Gamer on Sat Mar 28, 2009 12:12 am

Once we hit 2,000 profiles we'll be putting up something that's going to be a lot of fun and shoudl reignite those old school ground battles of yesteryear. Let's see how many new profiles we can get up :)

Does mean that RG are going to recognise that the Amstrad CPC was better than the Spectrum and C64?

Darran,

would you find it helpful if I created loads of spam profiles to get to 2000 quicker?

I dont mind you know.

Is it going to be a "innovative new face-off website" like the one that other Imagine magazines have, but based on retro games?

We don't need to wait for 2000 profiles, let's start the Mega Drive vs SNES thread right now!

That was my assumption. A tedious Top Trumps affair. Must have taken hours to come up with that idea.

BUT if it is - Oh what fun!

C64 would win though

Blimey, I've only just found this thread - since the new forum software upgrade I've not seen the Website section of the forum at all (wasn't looking hard enough).

I'm certainly intrigued as to what will happen when we reach 2000 profiles.

I've been running a poll about possible enhancements to the Retrobates web site as I'm a big fan of it and would love to see more people getting involved.

If anyone's interested the poll can be found here:

Hooray, I've posted Profile Number 2000! Gimme a prize! Or something.

Congratulations TwoHeadedBoy.

The amount of reviews some forumites are cranking out astonishes me - it takes me hours to write a single entry.

Indeed, congratulations mate :)

I'd imagine the special new addition to the forum will hopefully go up some time this week.

The end of the week is upon us and I still don't know what the new addition to the forum is.
