Thoroughly Sensible Soccer: Part 1 (Introduction and Origins)[

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7f9RNup5rEs

Howdy folks! Thought I'd show off what I'm currently up to - an attempt to create a series of videos all about Sensible Soccer, the almighty king of all sports games, and something that pretty much goes way beyond that genre - it'll be a four part series going through the original classic Sensi, onto the even better SWOS and closing with the much less amazing Sensible Soccer '98 and 2006 - the one that just missed the mark. In this first part, I'll be looking at the four main games that helped shape Sensi in various ways, as well as throwing out a bit of a love letter for the Amiga in general.

Enjoy! If you like what you see, then don't hesitate to subscribe!

Thoroughly Sensible Soccer – Part 2: Sensi (The whole bloody lot!)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5etkdeEP5pg

The second part in a series of vids all about Sensible Soccer. This one's all about the game itself – not just the Amiga original, but all 3 versions of it released on the system! There’s also a ranking of the five big console ports, and even a couple of little extra games that appeared on Amiga magazine coverdisks! It’s all here, and it’s all Sensible, all of the time!

Thanks for posting these. Both very entertaining and bought back apply memories of my Amiga and sensi. Looking forward to the next part of the series. One comment though - no mention of sensi on the Xbox live arcade. Keep up the good work.

Watched both 20 min videos back to back, very polished and thoroughly entertaining.
Jaguar version's gfx look great and Stuart Campbell's Sensi mag review can be seen at 19 mins 30 secs.
Well made and look forward to the next episode.

Glad you enjoyed them. Here's the third vid!

Thoroughly Sensible Soccer - Part 3: Sensible World of Soccer

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWjep88kB9w

Going through the entire Sensible Soccer series has been a long, wearying task - and it's not over yet...but no game is more intimidating than this one. Thousands of teams, tens of thousands of players, all of them real...the biggest football sim ever, without a doubt. And one of the 10 most important games ever made! What can you say to that? In the third part of the series, I try my very best to tackle the king of all footy games, Sensible World of Soccer.

(SWOS on XBLA will be coming in Part 4, which will deal with the more recent/3d games)

The final part is here!

Thoroughly Sensible Soccer - Part 4: '98, 2006 and Beyond

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2FmCYeHIww

The full-time whistle has blown! In this, the final video of our epic Sensi saga, I journey through the lesser lights – the dark hours of Sensible Soccer ’98, the oh-so-close Sensible Soccer 2006, the brutally ignored version of SWOS on Xbox Live Arcade, and the fan-made glory of the SWOS Total Pack. Sensi’s still not dead!

Enjoy the vid, and the whole series – 80 minutes of glorious Sensible action. If you like what you see, then subscribe to my Youtube channel and never miss a vid!

Excellent. I completely missed Sensi 98. A straight SWOS port to XBLA would have been much better than adding the new gfx and strange new menu system that gets stuck on top of the original menus.
