Club RG - formerly Let's All Play - Please read.

As Darran announced last week, we're bringing back Let's All Play. However, we've decided to give it a bit of a re-launch, taking into account everyone’s feedback about it.

It's now called Club RG (but that could change), and will be set to appear in the Mailbag pages - given that it’s a community led feature we felt it made perfect sense for it to get folded into this section.

It will only take up two pages of the magazine instead of four, and in it we will be responding to your comments rather than just joining in with discussions about the chosen game – again, with it taking on this new format we felt it would be a perfect new addition to Mailbag.

Darran and I used to really enjoy reading everyone’s LAP comments, and miss having the section, but we also understand that not everyone was a fan of the feature. And with some readers telling us the letters section could benefit from some work and attention, we felt this was a good way to kill two birds. We hope you can appreciate the thinking.

Anyway, we’re going to kick things off with Bomb Jack. I’ll be posting the topic threads on here later on today, so look out for them if you want to take part.

Good idea overall but I loved lets all play anyway. I take it the pictures are being dropped which is a pity if so as there were good fun and gave us a glimpse into other members setups etc.

Also it actually showed us playing the game at that moment rather than just putting up fond memories.

Not necessarily, if we're sent any pictures we’ll use them. The problem we had before was we rarely got enough. Over a couple pages this won’t be so much of an issue.

Great stuff. Is it any Bombjack? If so, I'll be having a bash at the far superior C64 version (and maybe on the Mame cab)

Never liked LAP as a separate feature as it looked out of place with the rest of the mag. Photos were good though as some folks would be playing on the actual machines. I do though like the idea of Club RG being incorporated with the community pages and more streamlined to two pages. Hope the photos can still be crammed in somehow even if they have to be reduced in size.

Safe to say this forum is dead. Give it to the members, they would be better off sorting out things like Lets all Play.
