Any other consoles you'd like to see?

Postby skylarking on Wed May 26, 2010 9:34 am

I'm not entirely sold on having console games in Game Room, but considering they are there, I'd love to see some Colecovision games.

I would rather they ditched the 2600 etc and concentrated on arcade stuff.

I don't mind the inclusion of console titles, but I can't ever see myself buying any Atari 2600 or Intelivision games. I'm hoping Sega will get on board soon, then we can see the likes of Outrun, Super Hang-On etc.

I made a retrobate of Super Hang-On months ago, why has no one ever rated it or commented? It's Super Hang-On for petes sake!

I'm not too bothered about more consoles being included as there are heaps of arcade games I'd like to see. That said, I've never had a Vectrex so I wouldn't be complaining if it were to be included. I have a lot of time for the 2600 and it's catalogue so it's great having it included in Game Room. It does look a bit odd stuck on top of an arcade cab though.

So far I've only purchased Yars Revenge. It's a great game and is suited to Game Room perfectly. 240 Ms Pts for it is perfect pricing and as I wouldn't pay 400 for an xbla 2600 game Game Room is the only choice imo. I'd be tempted if Yars was updated in a similar fashion to Jetpac Refuelled though and priced at 400Ms Points!

I'm more interested in Arcade games, although unlike some, I'm really happy to see Atari 2600 games. It gives me a good opportunity to play them more, since all my collection is stored away from my home.

Though I still believe the Game Room should focus on arcade games only, I'd really really like to play some Vectrex on my 360.

Yeah, that's the difference maker...I've got easy access to most, if not all of the Atari 2600 games on Game Room at the mo....either I've got the original carts, or have them on compilations like Activision Greatest Hits (for both PS2 and PSP), or the Atari Collection which I've got for the original Xbox, as well as on a couple of those Plug 'n Play joystick type thingies.

The only stuff I'll be adding to my Game Room is either proper arcade games, or console games that are genuine classics that I can't play elsewhere.
