Completed Soul Bubbles at last.

Was really enjoying it by the end, especially the snow levels.

They last a good 5 - 10 minutes and unless i'm missing something obvious, there is no way to skip them.

Is this perhaps nintendos stealthy way to force you into having a 10 minute break every half hour?

I take it back, its only the first time that it makes you sit through the credits. Subsequent goes has the option to skip.

Completed 3D Classics: Kid Icarus on the 3DS last night. First time I've ever completed any version of Kid Icarus, but I've never really bothered to sit down with it properly before. :)

Despite starting off seemingly fairly hard, I did find that it soon became much, much easier as it went along as you get weapon power ups and health extensions, and only the first boss gave me any problems (I even quickly found a spot on the screen whilst fighting Medusa at the end where you can just hammer the fire button and not be hit by any of her attacks  ) Rumours of it's difficulty are exaggerated, probably by people who couldn't get off the first level. I thought the added 3DS backgrounds really added to it as well (even though I can't actually see them in 3D  ) and overall it was a very fun game, got me really hyped up for Kid Icarus: Uprising now. :)

21 hours later and completed Pullblox. Well, I thought I had, then bonus levels appeared after the end credits, which appear to be another 54 puzzles...jeez...

Bargain for less than 6 quid, I reckon it's one of the best games on 3DS, still it's to be expected as its from the guys who did Advance Wars.

Agree with you on all points! I was told the difficulty was cruel but its really only the first few stages that cause any distress. Really enjoyed it and now one of my favourite NES games for sure.

Tonight I played Shadow of the Beast to the end.
Had it on Amiga and loved it but sucked really bad lol
Worked hard (and cheated eventually lol) but finally done but my god that game has aged really badly!

I completed Dante's Inferno today, clocking in at just shy of 8 hours for a playthrough.

Although the gameplay was nothing spectacular the setting and story really helped elevate it to be more enjoyable. Yes it's just a dumb hack n slash game but that's exactly what I was expecting and for my £3 to get it, I'm quite happy :)

I'll be playing through it once more hitting all collectables and then those extra survival modes to polish off all the PSN trophies :)

Saturday night I completed the campaign of Gears of War 3. It was ok I suppose but having played all three games in succession can't really see how they changed much throughout.

If I get time over the next few weeks will try it online.

I got the Platinum trophy from Trine 2 this morning, definitely not a game I would ever pay money for but as a PS+ freebie it was just fine.

Didn't even finish the game, only got up to chapter 8 when the platinum popped. I'd been tediously working my way through it with a guide (due to it's puzzle nature) and cannot be bothered to see it to the end

It's bad when trophy questing stops you enjoying a game..you need help! :)

Quite the opposite, it enticed me to play a game I'd normally ignore :)

I can definitely see Trine's merits but it really isn't my type of game
