Bulletstorm on the 360 - another cliffhanger ending. Great. That aside, I really enjoyed this game and had a blast plaing through it. It cna best be described as the game that Duke Nukem Forever should have been

Megaman 9 for the Wii. Been a while since I played this but it turns out I have pretty much the entire game committed to memory! I managed to clear it in under an hour, without continuing or using any e tanks. I'm so glad Capcom went back to the 8 bit style for this, it plays so much better than any Megaman game post Snes.

I know, it's a great feeling to have all that quality gamage lined up, a bit daunting too.

One thing I'm not keen on with the 2D Zelda's though is the swordplay, having been used to the 3D zeldas the 2D swordplay is more like jousting.

You've enough gaming to last you nearly a year if you play them to 100%. Just take your time and enjoy them :)

Regarding the sword fighting - I agree, but you know what? The satisfying audio visual feedback you get when you strike a boss's weakspot with your sword more than makes up for it 8) The flash of red, that unmistakably satisfying angry sound.... nothing better in gaming really

Megaman 10 for the Wii. I don't know the game anywhere near as good as Megaman 9 so it took me a few tries to do a few bits in the game but its still a solid Megaman game with some excellent levels and boss battles (the past boss battles in Wily Stage one is a highlight of the series for me).

Sly Cooper 3 on PS3, really enjoyed playing the series back to back and probably the best ten quid I've ever spent on games, I'm really looking forward to Thieves in Time now

Colin Mcrae Dirt for the PC. A very fun racing game on the whole though I wasn't over keen on a couple of events (anything to do with buggies mainly), I'd have preferred it focus on rallying more than anything but it was a solid racer none the less.

I also completed Megaman 10 again this time with Protoman. He's a really fun character to play as, his shield deflect move completely changes certain boss battles and makes them much easier. Quite handy as he takes twice as much damage compared to Megaman.

I completed Earth Defense Force - Insect Armageddon on Normal difficulty and the Dawnguard DLC main quest for Skyrim...both 360!

The ending of Insect Armageddon was a bit abrupt! I'm hoping it adds extra bits to it at the end of the other difficulties....

It does. But not much.

Stormed through Mario 3D Land (3DS) - the 3D is just gorgeous and the gameplay is pure Nintendo bliss, for the most part, but something feels off about the jumping, like it's terribly difficult to gauge where you're going to end up. Donut lifts are especially hellish. Also I really miss instant backflip somersaults...

Baby Thwomps are the best thing ever.

Of course, I got a lovely surprise when I got past world 8, so I guess I'm not done yet :D

Command & Conquer: Red Alert- AGAIN. Why when I have piles of new games to play do I go back and replay things I've already finished multiple times? Suppose this is the Retro Gamer forums though...
