I'm a megadrive fanboy - but I've always hated Sonic....

I always just felt like I was am observer when playing sonic 1 and 2 - as if the game was playing itself. Even though it pains me to say it - Super Mario Bros was far far better. :cry:

Or bring back Ristar.

I think Sonic needs to go back to being 2D. Wouldnt hurt them to release a PROPER Sonic game, i.e. one that stays true to the megadrive.

Or the ones on the Game boy Advance

Sonics games have been going down hill since Sonic Extreme was canceled

I actually liked Sonic Unleashed :oops:

. Nowhere near the quality of the Megadrive games but it was a good fun Sonic game none the less. It did seem rushed at the end though, Adabat had a terrible framerate, Eggman Land was a nightmare to complete and the games real final boss was as unsatisfying as ever.
