C64 rare and valuable games

Well, im flogging a few C64 games on eBay.

Was expecting a few quid (perhaps £10ish) for Chase HQ 2 cart and Driller on disk but so far only Chase HQ has a bid........of 99p!

On the other hand the 2 games which have had the most interest so far are Bongo & Rogue Trooper - didn't expect these to even sell!

Chase HQ 2 is also a very common cart... I'd be surprised if it makes more than a few quid...

Well, I do believe that suff is worth what people are prepared to pay.

Although, someone asked me yesterday if I would change my PS1 Bubble Bobble listing to £5 buy it now inc P&P which is taking it a bit too far!!

I've got a C64 cartridge called Jupiter Lander, I wonder if that is rare, or at least uncommon?

Nah, common as muck too. Most of the Commodore own cartridges are.

Got a few Carts and Disks forthe C64, nothing that special but a few rarish/sought after ones.

Bards Tale 3 (Disk)

Came across a locally published game on tape "The Man from Granny" I think I sent it to (and subsequently return by I should add) Mayhem or Fgasking? for a database.

Could well be the only one in existance as I guess it was one of the bedroom coded types sold in the local press or computer magazines. MEGA UBER RARE then!

I don't know if this game was rare as an original on EBAY (UK), but I was lucky to buy it a couple of weeks back. It's a game by Game Busters called Pogotron. The game was released on tape and did not take too long to load. You played a cybernetic chap on a pogo stick who has to build a rocket (Locating and placing pieces of the rocket) on a platform. You had to watch out for the enemies and also the lasers. The game's very tough and enjoyable.

Another game, which I had trouble finding, but finally found it was "Super Space Invaders". I remember having it back in 1991 as a Christmas present, but sadly the tape broke. We searched for another Super Space Invaders in stores, but found it extremely difficult. I even searched EBay a few times, but finally managed to find it as a twin pack with another game, a couple of weeks ago.

You have a CIB copy and want to sell? I think the last one I saw on eBay went for around 60 quid... although you might benefit from waiting a copy of months hah hah

CIB = Complete In Box

All the bits are there, basically, so more attractive to potential buyers. If the case has been replaced or the manual or any other goodies are missing it much reduces the cash value.

Ahar!! Well, mine is definitely CIB. Not sure if it's CIM though as I dunno what that means...

CIB I believe used to refer to Cartridge, Instructions, Box (for Atari and NES games primarily) to indicate that all three components were present, but today in general reference especially with other formats now, it means Complete In Box.
