It's the US version in that auction. I've seen it for less...

Kind of motivated by the latest RG issue, dug out my boxed movie/quiz c64 pack, inside was a long lost Cart.

I know its basically Last Ninja 2 but does it fall into the Sought after, Rare or just another cart catagory?

A lose Ninja Remix Cart sold for £80 on ebay last month, a boxed version from Island went for a little strangley.. I would have thought it would be pricey one of the C64's last games and everybody likes Ninja Games.. I still have the box set with the Mask and rubber star

Last Ninja Remix on cartridge is doing an Earthbound currently. It's not rare, it's just highly in demand for whatever reason and the price has skyrocketed in the last 2-3 years. 1990 was hardly the tail end of the C64's commercial life heh... and the fact I paid 15 quid for my CIB copy about ten years ago demonstrates such a rise.

Cheers Chaps, I shall not retire just yet then.

Perhaps just drop it on E-Bay to pay for a few Strongbows.

Had a pretty sh!te day at work then home to world war 3 of sorts. However just got a PM relating to this thread which to be honest has made my day a whole lot better..

pantal00ns wrote:Came across a locally published game on tape "The Man from Granny" I think I sent it to (and subsequently return by I should add) Mayhem or Fgasking? for a database.

Could well be the only one in existance as I guess it was one of the bedroom coded types sold in the local press or computer magazines. MEGA UBER RARE then!

Got this PM

Certainly was - my bedroom, when I was a kid. And yes, we didn't sell many, so I expect it's uber rare.

Class :). Have a lot of respect for those involved in the early days of the 8-bit, after 37 years I can barely program a microwave.

For an extra bit of nostalgia a pointer to a previous thread, should you desire Mr kt112.

went for a quick look in my folks' loft today. found a few of my old c64 bits n bobs. there should be loads more, but i didn't really have very long to look thanks to having two hyperactive toddlers running around at the same time. i doubt there is anything particularly collectible, and i'm sure there is nothing rare there, but anything of any interest..? all cassette (except wizard of wor, sadly missing it's box, but it does have the instructions - and there was also seawolf cartdridge with the paddles, and a whole load of magazine covertapes etc. and a load of amstrad games too. as i say, there was a lot more than that up there, i just didn't get round to looking through it all.

Some great games there, but as you suspect, nothing rare or especially valuable.

Well it's a bit hard not to Paul heh... which I why I "volunteered" for the C64 collecting thing. I've got to use 25+ years of knowledge on the system in some way :P

No. There's very few compilations I owned and those that I did were usually given to me (or were very, very cheap). No point in buying compilations when you already have all the games on them.
