I'm missing quite a few hardware paks...that's my next step :) I had one until recently but traded it with a fellow forum member. I didn't mind letting it go as it didn't have the RE4 controller. I'm also missing the RE4 chainsaw controller.

Boxed sets i'm missing are:

RE 4
Pokemon Collosseum
Mario Smash Football
Zelda
Mario Sunshine
Metroid Prime (box) have it loose x2

I also really want a Hanshin Tiger's 'cube and Panasonic Q.

So plenty to spend my money on, but there's no rush. It's not like i'm short of 'cubes as it is

Wicked stuff Trev, pleased for you too.

It makes such a nice collection due to the lovely coloured spines compared to the white and sterile PS2 spines. Some lovely boxes too, that Zelda Four Swords one makes me very envious!

The US had some big box Cube releases, but one was exclusive, and one it never got: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles was just sold game only, there wasn't a larger box release. That one was Japan and Europe only, and I've got the Japan version on my shelf. Which is odd, considering Four Swords was sold big box, packed with the GBA link cable. Conversely it got Karaoke Revolution Party, bundled with a microphone. Which isn't actually that bad heh...

If you want other Cube packs, then I recommend, if you can find it, the Japanese Metal Gear Solid release. Comes with some nice extras, including a version of the original Metal Gear on a Cube disc.

Until people said they were collecting full PAL sets, I didn't realise MC Dance Groovz had come out in Europe. That one took an age to find in the US, and I finally located some old-new stock in Circuit City one time, and got it still sealed for $15. The fact that Nokgod has, like me, got every game in total completeness, including the outer box and freebies, is even more impressive.

I do like the sound of that, yes indeedy :D

I was lucky with MC Dance Groovz..i got that in a trade with cauterize. It did cost me my pristine copy of Fire Emblem GBA (since replaced, but not in quite as good condition) and something else that escapes me atm. Well worth it though. :)

If you look closely at the MC Groovz box....that's the actual game you can see on the front, it sits in a plastic window. I thought that was a nice touch, when i saw it for the first time.

Yeah... I'd found it a couple of times in the used section in Gamestops, but someone told me it had come bundled with the proper dance mat, so I held off until I found the complete package. I did find the much rarer dance mat sold by itself too, but it was $10 more than the game package (!) and figured it wasn't worth it to then also ship back to the UK as I didn't have the room in my luggage.

Last game through the letterbox was a German/French exclusive: Shrek Smash and Crash Racing. I had to spend quite a bit of time emailing german sellers trying to persuade them to send it to the UK. For some reason that particular game hardly ever comes up with international postage. I found a willing seller in the end, although, for me, it was definitely the trickiest continental game to get hold of.

congrats on 3000 mate 8)

Wow Nokgod, amazing collection. I always thought the Gamecube itself (i.e. the box) was a great design.

What should I be paying for Resident Evil Code Veronica X on the Gamecube? Trying to get back into picking off the last few games I want for my complete (as in just the games I want not all of 'em) GC set and I see this listed for an average of £25 on ebay BIN's.

The PS2 version is near-enough worthless so the difference in price is staggering when it doesn't seem to be a rare game...

Just fancied having the GC version over my PS2 version (which I'm selling) since I already have most of the others on the 'cube already.

For Code Veronica X you are probably looking at around £20 max but would look at picking it up for cheaper than that.

You can sometimes get lucky and get it for around a tenner but not that often unfortunately.

Ah cheers, I'll keep that in mind. I also need 0 and Resi 2 to finish the set. Currently deliberating over a minty copy of 0 that I have my eye on.

I remember when the likes of Gamestation were flooded with copies of the GC Resi games all at substantially less than they seem to sell for today. Couldn't afford them at the time but it's gutting all the same to think that I never picked them up :(

Anyway, the games I'd still like to get into the collection are:

Chibi Robo
Dancing Stage Mario Mix
Donkey Konga
Donkey Konga 2
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat
Evolution Worlds
Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life
Ikaruga
Kirby Air Ride
Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures
Lost Kingdoms 2
Luigi’s Mansion
Mario Golf Toadstool Tour
Mario Party 5
Mario Party 6
Mario Party 7
Phantasy Star Online Episode 1+2
Phantasy Star Online Episode 3: C.A.R.D Revolution
Pikmin
Pikmin 2
P.N.03
Resident Evil 0
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil Code Veronica
R:Racing
Skies of Arcadia Legends
Sonic Adventure DX
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle
Star Wars Rogue Squadron 3: Rebel Strike
Summoner: A Goddess Reborn
Super Monkey Ball
Super Monkey Ball 2
Viewtiful Joe Red Hot Rumble
Waverace Blue Storm

Already got a lot of the first party stuff and plenty of the pricier big names. Some of these are pretty cheap to get but I just never seem to get around to grabbing them. I'd like to be able to find them in the shops instead of just clicking 'Buy' on the likes of ebay.

I genuinely wish you well in that endeavour. I'd been looking for GC games in every shop i could think of for a few years...but some of those games you've listed there, i've just never seen in the wild. The ones you'll be EXTREMELY lucky to find (in my experience, natch) are:

Chibi Robo
Evolution Worlds
Kirby AirRide
Mario Party 6 + 7 (if you're looking for the bigbox versions)...you'll find the solus versions on occasion
Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II
Skies of Arcadia
Summoner: A goddess reborn.

All the others i've seen a time or two or more. I know for a fact one of our local charity shops has had WaveRace: Blue Storm in for a few weeks now, if you want me to pick it up next time i'm passing?

Oh totally, I've never seen any of those in the shops either and I own/have owned plenty of other Gamecube stuff that I've never seen in physical stores. I might have seen Chibi Robo at launch but I couldn't afford it at the time and I never saw it again.

None of the shops in my town stock GC at all now so online is the only option anyway. I knew it would be, I just wish there were some sort of retro shop near me that regularly got fresh stock in.

Wouldn't mind that Waverace if it's still there. Not to fling any rudeness at your genorosity but I only go for complete stuff in good nick and no Players Choice stuff either  . I used to have Waverace but it had no book and a massive hole in the box. Think I threw it in a bin liner full of general waste for the tip a few years back
