Same with me, I pre-ordered it but it's yet to come. I'm still playing Xenoblade Chronicles so I'm not particularly bothered, although as you say it kinda defeats the point of a pre-order.

Otherwise a pre-order is basically just a reservation, the bright side is you will definitely get it (unless you preordered with Game), and at a sane price compared to ebay prices should copies be scarce in future.
