I'm pretty sure it is actually discs 3 & 4, looking at the spine. :D

Mind you, considering the twunts that attempt to sell Panzer Dragoon Saga on there for extrortionate prices at times (I did find one seller selling the discs, boxes, games and instructions all as seperate lots once in an attempt to inflate it's price  ), that might help towards somebody getting a complete Panzer Dragoon Saga set if they make it up with some bit bought from another auction.

This is the same place that had a Saturn with some Jap games with it in the shop - but the price kept going up as they found more stuff with it. Got over £50 and i lost interest.

Got my snes bundle from here over a year ago - £15 with 30-ish games. Seems they wised up. Bugger.
If they had listed them seperately they would have made a fortune - I got just over £80 for Boxing Legends of the ring.

Ah well - won't stop me going in.

An odd find today, 2 Gizmondo games Fifa 2005 and SSX3 for £1.50 each.

I don't own a Gizmondo but bought them anyway, might flog em on ebay and put the cash towards some psp games.

One of the other volunteers looked at me and laughed saying that it should have been £1.99, pretty much dismissing me thinking that I didn't know anything about the gaming side of things. Within 48 hours, one of my regulars came in, spotted it in the display cabinet and bought it without hesitating because of the "low" price! lol

I've just been reading through this whole thread and I actually remember that, I was seriously considering buying that at £20 but in the end I didn't, missed my chance there. If only it was £1.99 on that day

Charity shops are funny places with regard to prices. Round here, the prices in different branches of the same 'chain' can vary wildly. In the 'posh' part of town expect to pay £4 for a copy of Pro Evolution 5 whereas in other parts of town most PS2 games go for £1.50.

Even in my local area prices can vary between shops. In one shop PS1 games were going for £5 each yet I went into another and picked up a boxed and sealed PSP E1000 and 20 brand new, sealed games for £35 three weeks ago.
Cue the music, fade to black...

I saw in an Oxfam over the weekend in Newport Pagnell a massive load of Phillips CDI games that were £2.99 each. Ive never seen any of those before. Also the week before same town got Tekken 6 on the Xbox 360 for 49p.

today witnessed what I knew to be going on - charity shops giving professional re-sellers first dibs on donated games

Saw a guy come in with big rucksack and get shown all the games just donated, set his own price, and walk off with a big haul. Seems to me charity shops should try and get a fair price for their games and sell to the public first - people donating just to make ebay re-sellers stock seems wrong.

(i know this thread is old, but seemed like the right place)

Not surprising, but that's censored-poor. I'm thankful the charity shops near me don't seem to do that - I've picked up some cracking bargains on games that I've bought, taken home and actually played. I leave the games I'm not interested in, not for re-sellers but for people to buy and enjoy themselves.

One of our local ones has a loose NES with two controllers, official leads + SMB 3, SMB/Tetris/some footy game 3 in 1 cart and Digger T Rock for £25.

Not for me, but nice to see. :)

I usually never see any Playstation games in my local charity shop but today there was a bunch of them. Came out with Speed Freaks, Rollcage, Duke Nukem, Tekken 3 and Syphon Filter 2, 49p each.

Great find! They are all fantastic games and worth it at that price.

I rarely find anything beyond a few 10 year old FPSs in my charity shops. I was therefore completely surprised to spot the Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate Hunter Pack, complete with control pad, microphone, and weird statue thingy, for just £15. Woot!

The Phyllis Tuckwell in Aldershot often has a crapload of Gamecube and PSP games. A while ago I picked up a copy of The Legend of Zelda Promotional Disc on Gamecube in there, which I donated as a prize to the Video Game Carnival.

ive asked the local oxfam and they just admitted they bin anything pre ps1.... I worked in two charity shops in different towns and I don't think anything interesting ever came in, so if you do find something consider yourself lucky, its mostly ladies who donate stuff... guys just ebay everything or hoard it... :)

Hence the puke-inducing amount of bullshit chick-lit and no sci-fi in the book sections of every charity shop I've ever been in.
