I did collect a bit for the snes mainly PAL boxed complete stuff.Must have had about 80-90 titles at one point.Just gets to damn expensive though and half the time the games turn up all bashed in :x

Have gotten rid of the majoity now and the only games i will be keeping are the Boxed Star wars trilogy,Super Punchout,And Mario all stars/World.Also have my wildcard with a couple of hundred floppies considering parting company with that to though.

I tried emulation, it is ok but not great. On a PC is is decent, can be setup nicely even with a high res monitor. On the Xbox it was awful. The higher resolution of the machine gave you far too much interlacing flicker on my CRT. That is fine for Xbox, GC, PS2 etc but not for 16 bit 2d. I am sure there are ways around it but I don't know any.

It great on the xbox mate. You can adjust the flicker filter within the emulator to have it looking like you are playing through RF on 30 year old portable tv or looks ultra sharp .Tons of options to have it looking as good or bad you like on the xbox snes emu.All you need to do is go into the options menu and have a fiddle with the different settings till the pic is how you like.

I dunno, i tried getting SNES games to run on a PSP and it was never quite right. I think the PSP is just slightly too slow for SNES emu. The Xbox is great - if you dont mind the horrid controllers.

SUper Tennis.
Castlevania.
Metroid.
Smash TV
Actraiser.

Good list. I've been really reluctant to get Starfox as I expect it to be terribile after all these years. Even back then the framerate was "sketchy".
Get Smash Tennis instead of/as well as Super, though. Also if you like a bit of Desert Strike get Desert Fighter- it's awesome.

I've got a lovely mint PAL SNES with a 50/60 switch and widended cart slot which I'll NEVER part with. I only have Starfox, Stunt Race FX, Mario Allstars (with SMW), Contra III and F-Zero. I sold all my games I had collected as emulation on the Wii is the exact same thing, because I'm running them 60hz through RGB at 240p so they look indistinguishable. I even bought an adaptor to use my SNES pad but tbh it's rubbish compared to the CCP so no, I don't collect for this amazing machine anymore, it's just wasted money to me.

I do play SNES an awful lot though, I never stopped tbh.

A scan converter like Extron Emotia is what you are looking for (or a wii preferably) because the Xbox doesn't support lower progressive resolutions I feel the exact same way, I hate the 480i look as it's messy with the flickering all over the place even with point filtering and everything scaled evenly to 2x. Everything looks blocky without the proper scanlines to separate the pixels, when it should look crisp and just beautiful.

Xbox SNES emulation isn't that great anyway tbh, so it's not really worth it for that alone.

Surely the widened cart slot means it's not mint?
Looking for pretty much any Japanese GBA game!

Well yeah probably but you know what I mean, no yellowing or scratches etc. I think it looks nice with US cart sitting in it.

It isn't really a console I go out of my way to collect for, but I pick up the odd game if I see it in a bargain bin. I feel I've got a pretty good collection, considering that virtually all of the games were either bought for about a quid in Cash Convertors, given to me by mates or came with the machine itself (which I got about 11 years ago in exchange for a third-party N64 rumble pack...and nothing more!)

Batman Returns
Bubsy II
Bubsy In: Claws Encouters of the Furred Kind
Cannon Fodder
Cybernator
Donkey Kong Country
Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
International Superstar Soccer
Krusty's Super Fun House
Mario Paint
NBA Jam
Plok
Pop n' Twinbee
Putty Sqaud
Starwing
Stunt Race FX
Super Adventure Island
Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts
Super Mario All Stars
Super Mario Kart
Super Mario World
Super Pang
Super Star Wars
Super Tennis
Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster Busts Loose
True Golf Classics: Pebble Beach Golf Links

Quite happy with that lot!
