PS1 night tonight.

Went from Wipeout to Wioeout XL. Moved on to the sublime sounding and still well playing Soul Edge, then finally a race or two of the still superb Rage Racer.

All in all a great evening and my ears have been duly treated.

It is. Also it has by far the best soundtrack of the entire series.

Spotted it in my Atari ST box yesterday while I was rooting around for Flood. Played it on the ST for a bit today then switched to MAME. The arcade version is a lot harder and the viewpoint seems closer.

:D I bloody loved Flood.Been years since i played though.

Playing SOR 2 MD myself at mo, tempted to fire Gods up as well.

The SNES version of Dropzone. I really like the C64 version but because of the required use of keyboard for some game functions I felt like that was always going to encroach on the experience. Playing with the snes controller and having all functions available is very nice.

PC Genjin 2 on the PC Engine.

A great platformer with nice chunky sprites!

Another huge PS1 session today.

Wipeout 3 SE which is amazing looking. So solid and some of the best 3D around at the time. Manages to have a solid feel that you would normally only get on the N64.

Project Overkill. Ok action game, sort of Smash TV style controls.

N-Gen racing. Really fun jet fighter based racer. Lovely visuals especially the reflecting water.

Street Fighter Zero 1 and 3. I love SFZero 1, a lot. The chain combo system is fantastic and I love the music. SFZ3 is ok, just didn't get on with it so much. World Tour mode is great though.

Been playing KOF 98 quite a lot on the 360. Loaded up the KOF 00/01 double pack on the PS2 today as well. Prefer the 98 edition but still can't get into the franchise nearly as much as Street Fighter.

Yeah I like the chain combo system on Alpha 1, so much so I have the PSone game on my PSP. Never liked Alpha 2 much though but feel Alpha 3 had all bases covered. You could even earn the chain combo system via the World Tour Mode.
