Still waiting for my Kid Icarus code though. Ah well, maybe over the next few days.

Another day, another lack of Kid icarus code (so far) I definitely got the box telling me I was eligible for it after registering the 2 games, entered my email address and have the confirmation email saying I should get the code soon though, so I'll keep checking.....

I also only registered my games a couple of days back. The offer lasts until the end of this month so they should still be sending out codes I would've thought.

Well i was finally able to register my vote for 1 of them ltd ed 3ds consoles! thanks to adippm82 & toxie, what a chew on that site is!

i got my kid icarus code on the morning they went live, maybe get onto nintendo and push them to send you one out, if i could give my copy away i would as its still rock hard, i dont think i even made it off the first level- what a weird choice for a free game from nintendo as this game is way to hard the casual 3ds crowd!

So when do you guys think the Resi Revelations demo will drop? I was going to preorder the zavvi bundle but im holding off for a quick play of the demo now cos im a bit short this month. I'll probs end up caving in Jan 25th demo or not anyway

i didnt even know there was goin to be a demo, can that bundle be bought anywere else?? zavvis pre-orders take forever to arrive!

Yeah it was released in Japan, theres footage on youtube, and its just been confirmed to come to UK and US at some point. I saw the story on a few games sites but heres a link to the same article in the metro: http://www.metro.co.uk/tech/games/88657 ... -to-europe

Haha wish you hadnt said that the pre-orders on zavvi take ages cos ive literally just caved in and pre-ordered it after seeing the price had risen from £29.95 to £32.95! Three quid makes me freak out a little apparently. Zavvi are the only ones doing the bundle as far as im aware, they have exclusivity: http://www.videogamer.com/3ds/resident_ ... zavvi.html

Its a pretty good deal, the standalone game is near the £40 mark in other places, but for £33 from Zavvi you get the CPP and a pretty box too.

Official Nintendo Magazine have scored Resident Evil Revelations at 90%....that's good enough for me, (even from them) to indicate that it's a proper Resi game that I'll enjoy at least. Already had it preordered anyways.

You need to practice more I downloaded it on the Wii from the Virtual Console a couple of years back, I actually managed to get near the end before I stopped playing it for some reason. It's very tough in places but pretty rewarding. It does get much better once you acquire a couple of the weapons.

I'm really looking forward to another RE game. I actually enjoyed Mercs for what it was and the demo packed with it while stupidly short did wet my appetite for the game, plus its nice that they are trying for a more horror focus like the older games and the mansion DLC for RE5.

I'm still in two minds whether to get it from Zavvi though since I don't like ordering from there (if I get it from Shopto I'll have it days before its official release) and I really don't care for the extra analogue pad at all, I just like the box

Pffft. Did you even get to the first exit door to the second bit (where all the icy platforms are)? I've just done that on my first go before turning it off. It' actually feels easier than the NES original (still tricky though) and you can tell they've really tweaked the game a lot. Should still be fun to play through, but I doubt it's gonne be that hard for those of us used to playing the original.
