I think Miyamoto was quoted as saying that. He suggested that the Gyro controls made up for the lack of a second stick.

It reminds me a bit of Giana Sisters C64 but I'm not sure why. It's quite difficult as well.
has this been released yet? had my eye on it for a while now, looks spot on, defo be picking it up![]()

its brilliant, i would happily of paid full price for this on a retail cart, old skool rock solid retro platforming at its best!
Just managed to unlock the secret levels, i can see these taking a lonnnng time to get through, the secret Game Boy & Virtual Boy style levels that are hidden away on each regular level is also a nice touch
Theres also a demo up on the eshop for anyone whos thinking about getting it.

I thought the game was a bit lightweight before, but they've added some seriously hard levels to it now that I pretty much doubled my play time on it getting through them. Very nice of them to make it a freebie for those who had already bought it too.

I picked it up a couple of weeks back so I'm guessing I got the updated version by default? I'm really enjoying shooting for the fast times on each level, I'm about half way through it (Level 11 I think)

You'll be able to tell if you've got five bonus levels after level 16.

I've been playing this as well but my enjoyment of it has sort of fizzled out a bit. The main levels look great, lovely use of the 3D effect. The later levels just feel a bit annoying - enemies that you can't see coming so I ended up dieing through little fault of my own. No health collectables in a level either really pissed me off on these levels as I hated redoing some of them. The 3D effect on the GB/VB levels disappoints me as well, I personally get loads of ghosting no matter what I do (I've tried fiddling with the 3D slider etc. and it still ghosts). That really annoyed me as the rest of the game looks so good. I really need to get the rest of the gems and finish the game...
