Ah, Mad Maestro looks kinda cool, too. Gotta ad that to my buy list.

Never heard of that one - which is odd for a Dreamcast game! Looks like fun though, nice and noisy.

That looks nuts! Can't really work out what you're supposed to be doing, mind :?

It reminds me of a game... which I can't remember the name of. Which is helpful.

Anyway, you basically control a kitten on a jetpack. Hold a button to boost upwards, release the button to drop down. That's it. It's not going to win awards for gameplay, but it's a fun diversion.

Since I last posted that, in addition to XBLA & iOS, it's on Android and Facebook too.

EDIT: Although if you're sensitive to fast moving/flashing images, you probably don't want to play it.

Also on XBLIG in the same vein are Nyan Cat and Asteroids Do Concern Me, there's probably others. All based on an old flash game called Bump Copter 2.

For real strangeness (and much fun) on XBLIG try Fish Squid Time Machine. One button to control and supports fifty player local multi (something we've all wished for at one time or another I'm sure).

Garden Gnome Carnage on XBLIG is also pretty mental.

Ha, the other game on XBLIG by that guy is "Squid Yes! Not So Octopus!". A game that's really awesome. It's certainly a lot more playable than Fish Squid Time Machine at any rate.

Gah, HATED that game

And yeah, McDonald's TreasureLand Adventure has some freaky stuff in it, even more than Dynamite Headdy does. Mostly in the level set inside the giant monster (weird fish things chasing you down the hill), and the train that turns into a big row of ballerinas when it goes into a tunnel.

The Tynesoft Supergran game is possibly the wieirdest thing I've ever seen, I've tried playing it on emulators once or twice and I have absolutely no idea what the hells going on, what I have to do, or if the inputs I do are having any effect on whats happening on the screen.

The first thing that came to my head when I saw this topic was Killer 7... but it had already been said many times already. Seems I wasn't the only one who thought killer7 was absolutely insane while at the same time genius!

Mischief Makers on the N64 is weird in the sense that it is insane. Firing missiles back at some guy on a motorbike who is chasing you while you're riding a cat? Amazing.

The Clock Tower series is pretty weird and disturbing... especially the earlier instalments in the series. Is it me or do limited graphics of old games make them so much creepier?

Is Mister Mosquito for the Ps2 hard to find? I''ve looked for it on eBay a couple of times without luck.
It was released in pal format, right?

Strange as there used to be loads of copies. Make sure you spell it 'Mister Moskeeto' as that's the correct game title. I did try spelling it that way too in an ebay search but to no avail unfortunately. I struck lucky and got a copy from GAME for 49p or something silly. I'd been looking for it for years though!

Another PS2 weirdo is Pink Pong which sounds like a dodgy far eastern porno but is really table tennis in the DoA Xtreme vein. You can destroy scenery in the background to unlock stuff and all the opponents are girls who strip down to bikinis when you beat them. The best part was playing inside a school-type gym and somehow destroying all of the walls in a massive explosion with a shot that went wide
