Pah!

WWF Wrestlefest is one of the most iconic arcade games ever made and an amazing multiplayer experience whether you like wrestling or not.

Good God, no!!

Horrible, lazy and was an epic failure last time, i'll give it a few months before its left to rot again. A quick look up at the original LAP section just shows how p1ss poor the whole thing was, things must be tough if this monstrosity is being brought back from the dead.

Jack The Nipper, Moonwalker........3-8 replies from a handful of people, filled out over 3-4 pages, disgraceful. A feature nobody wanted and nobody responded to. Best left buried.

Why not link 'lets all play' in with the RetroLeague? At least there would be a number of members playing for a week at a time.
I've been missing playing in the league - but this would drag me back. At least it is tried and tested and has a number of forum members involved.

I wanted it and I responded to it, and I was by no means the only one. So this statement is sheer fiction.

I think 360 magazine's Club 360, is a good model to follow. It's a permanent fixture in the magazine and there is never any question as to its validity. The article is situated near the back so it sits among the less "headline" features and nearer to the other reader participation stuff (well, letters page basically). 360 magazine forum is quite a lot less busy than this one, but the posters there really do get stuck in with the Club 360 stuff, providing lots of detail in their response so that the magazine staff can put together a really good article, with them providing equally detailed responses. There's also a negative corner, which to my (and other 360 posters') great amusement was wholly occupied last month by a very funny poster called ClownTrousers (the game in question was "Enslaved: Odyssey to the West").

It works well in 360 magazine - no reason why it couldn't work as well or even better here.

When only a handful (from thousands) of people are getting involved then it may as well be nobody. It will be buried again before long, the reason, because nobody wants it.

As Havant said, the 360 works well and is popular and that only has a handful of people commenting.

Darran's said he's re-jigging the format and it'll be just 2 pages - why don't you give it a chance first?

Seriously, Cosmic Spacehead. It's a platformer-cum-point-and-click adventure. It's on Game Gear, Master System, Mega Drive, Nes, Amiga, and PC, and you can complete it in a couple of sittings - short but sweet. It's perfect!
