keeping track of the time to get the flesh to Elena can be a bit frustrating, as does the fixed camera at times, but the controls are good and the atmosphere is great, and the fact poor Elena has to chow down on that hideous flesh has quite a creepy, uneasy air, bit unusual for Nintendo games

will try to give it another go today, i wonder how long it takes to get through 1 tower?

I'm taking about 30 minutes or so to get through each tower, though once I've worked out where everything is I can go back and blast through it in ten.

I've noticed that the further I get into the game, the more times you have to leave the tower. I also like the monster hunter like elements, where you use items to upgrade your current weapons. It's worth noting however that certain things only appear at particular times of the day, or in certain towers, meaning you'll need to revisit past locations in order to build your arsenal.

i just finished the 1st tower, am really enjoying it 8)

the first boss (or 'master' as they are called) defeated, which had some kind of sad feeling as it seemed innocent and didn't attack me at first (you have to initiate the battle) so this has some shades of Shadow Of The Colossus

will continue with the 2nd tower as quickly as possible

Pandoras Tower? I prefer sniffing around Pandoras Box  . Seriously though, if I hadnt recently "lofted" my Wii I would have seriously considered this. Looks like it would be right up my street.

Well if you're weren't playing Final Fantasy on PS3 all the time you might have time to find it :D

Haha! :D
I'm actually playing Resonance of Fate at the moment, which feels like it goes on forever. Can't bring myself to leave it unfinished though...

I'm just about to fight the master in the seventh tower. Since I found the scythe I haven't really used anything else! Stick a few upgrades on it and it's devastating. What level are you at? I just levelled up to 25 and I still seem to be holding my own. I could do with a larger equip zone - I just alchemised a ring that lets me regenerate health but it takes up a ton of room.

How can you upgrade armour? I have a leather jerkin equipped but is there anything beyond that I can use?

Just killed the plant boss in Arkadian tower :)
He's a real bugger to kill as he keeps on regenerating under sunlight. I went back at midnight and while there was still light there, he didn't seem to recover as well and I kicked his stupid plant arse

I just kept pulling him out of the light and chaining him to the stones
.

The boss in the seventh tower was surprisingly trouble free. He only had a couple of attacks, none of which were difficult to dodge. You could also get to the Master Flesh very quickly and do big damage without too much trouble. He was the first boss since Treetop Tower I've beaten on my first go.
