I'm only on the 2nd tower at the moment - but really enjoying this game. Whilst it doesn't have the depth of 'Xenoblade Chronicles' or 'Last Story' I find it much more accessible and appealing. It certainly does have a retro charm to it!

Unfortunately I've been rather busy lately and haven't really had the chance to play, but after this week I should have plenty of time to play. I think I've only played about an hour so far.

what weapon is everyone using(other than the chain)? i've levelled the standard sword up a bit but just unlocked that scythe thing which seems pretty sweet :D

I'm on the 10th level boss (is it Goldcliff Tower) been using the Twin Swords, Elena's Bracelet, Blast stone, and Sage Stone(brings u back when you die).. A lot of stuff seems to break making it useless

Mavda will fix it. Most stuff is fairly cheap to fix.

The annoying thing is the blue dress you can buy for Elena. If you hang about too long and she starts to get sluggish in the basement then the dress is damaged and Mavda charges a stonking 1,250 to get it sorted.

Everything seems so expensive to get Mavda and that Skeleton to repair.. I managed to get Mavda to make me chain mail, to wear...

I'm now on the Dawn & Dusk towers which your forced to play as one tower.. I had to cheat and use You Tube the one puzzle I can't see how anybody could possibly get it without hints.. Using a Dawn shard in a certain room in a certain spot, to make a warp room appear.. Boss room next!!!

I've been confused about this. How many towers are there? You access the first five two at a time, then the next five all open at once. Then what? Do you go straight into the final two towers? Only the game keeps referring to the 'thirteen towers', but it's not clear whether it's counting the observatory as one.

After that you get the dawn and dusk Towers, they class them as seperate towers you warp between them using portals to reach the chains!! For example a a demolished bridge at dusk, will be a normal bridge in Dawn with a portal so to speak.. You use Dawn and Dusk shards to open portels! You fight both Dawn and Dusk bosses at the same time.. I'm not 100% sure about the 13th Towe, and I can't really tell you without spoilers, I think maybe your relationship with Elona could effect if you get a 13th Tower...

Started this last night and played half hour of it, about twenty minutes of that was spent getting used to the controls after finished The Last Story.

Played about another hour tonight and had managed to destroy one of the two chains in the second tower before having to save. Enjoyed what I've played so far.

Well I did the first stage the night I bought the game - a few days after it launched. I haven't put it on since as I want to complete The Last Story first and that has been put to one side as I have been playing Kid Icarus on 3DS like a lunatic. I will get back to it in a meaningful way hopefully soon enough as it is superb from what I played - looks great for a Wii title too.

Am I going nuts or is the Torrent Peak master basically a guessing game? I just seem to keep pulling off armour until I find either the flesh (and get a chance to attack) or the head (in which case I don't). Am I missing something? Because if not this must rank as one of the most stupidly designed boss battles I've ever played.
