First glimpse of Wii U controller in action

So Nintendo announced a surprise pre E3 press conference today which will supposedly shed more light on the Wii U hardware.

The Wii U Pro Controller looks pretty cool.

So the controller is officially called the Wii U Gamepad.

It definately has 2 analogue sticks instead of the 2 circle pads of the one last year.

Also announced Wii U Pro controller... Looks very similar to 360 pad.

What a shock you think it is a train wreck.

All of the Mii stuff is pretty standard fare for gaming now, that is they way it is. The Gamepad looks extremely handy though, full connectivity from a controller is much better than the always clunky Live and Home setups.
Also the Alone Together focus was 100% accurate, it is so common to see people sitting together and not interacting.

All about the games though, will have to wait and see for that.
