I live in the States and was never much of a computer game kind of kid. (I grew up on a healthy dose of console games.) I was kind of late to the whole computer scene, as a whole. My family bought our first computer in 1993 and it was as a TRS-80. (Like I said, late to the scene.) While the world was beginning to meet Windows, I began experimenting with small bits of programming and goofing around with the built-in paint program (interested in drawing ALL THE TIME). The only way I was able to play games on the machine was if I typed in my own program (either through a magazine or book borrowed from a library). The little blips and bleeps intrigued me, but to this day I'm still not sure if there were any actual retail games available for it.
I never had the chance to explore retail games for the TRS-80, being only a kid at the time with a limited means of purchase. Rather than just do a quick Google search, I thought I would come here for some opinions first. Were there any good games for the Trash-80? If there were, which ones had the best graphics, sound or gameplay? Also, did Retro Gamer ever do a spread on this machine yet?
