Are you sure Starfox was £50? In the magazines I have from that era they said it retailed at £40.

Yes, £49.99, I was looking for it in Woolworths, on launch day, but they did not have it, then some bloke was standing next to me shaking his head at the price of games, he mentioned Choices down the road were selling 'that new space game with those creatures in it for 50 quid', I left him to his thoughts and legged it down the street to pick up my copy!

Which part of my post didn't you understand?

It's more fun to dance around you because it is impossible to have any kind of balanced conversation with either you or Jagfest when it comes to something you clearly don't like. The bias is too big.

I've purchased a few SNES games via Wii's Virtual Console as well as having purchased an original SNES pad plus one of these a few years ago which didn't exactly come cheap...

... so to enjoy what I consider the best of what SNES brought to the table in the most authentic way without further cluttering up my gaming space with yet another retro console purchase.

Starwing overrated nonsense? Bet you loved Starglider though!

It was ok, just as Starwing was ok and Panzer Dragoon imo, on rail shooters I don't particularly enjoy that much and hardly ever replay via emulation which is usually a good sign of a good game that I enjoy... all those i mentioned seemed to get really good reviews based on great graphics at the time probably blinding the review score...anyway I'm off to play Microcosm excuse me!
