I hope so. Although an XBLA remake would be nice too :)

Wasnt there an attempt at a reboot a few years back, remember there being a very basic flash version on the Cinemaware website....although it could have been something to do with the GBA release??

Anyway, I love Wings and would love to see it released on something more than smart phones.

Yeah, I heard rumblings about a GBA release but that never came to fruition.

Great game, but got pretty hard onm later stages - especially the strafing level where it got almost impossuble to not get badly shot up.

The diary was phenomenal though and gave the game massive atmosphere. I eventually played through to then end (using quite a few pilots!) and it was worth it.

I'm really not sure that any remake could come even remotely close to the original though. The DOTC remake wasn't great, but here's hoping though! Would also love to see an ICFTD remake if done well.

Yes yes and yes :)
It was bloody hard... A friend an myself used to love starting a fresh game and seeing how long we could survive without dying. Don't think we ever finished the game in self imposed hardcore mode.
Was only playing ICFTD the other day and thinking how suited to an iOs remake it could be...
