I completed Half Life 2 Episode 2 just now, and I'm not sure what to play next. In recent weeks I've completed Gears 1 and 2, and have 3 sitting here; completed Resident Evil 5, but 6 isn't out yet; completed Halo 3, and have ODST, Reach and CE Anniversary waiting to be played.

I started Bioshock a while ago, but it's the only game I have on the 360 that exhibits any stick drift (right analog), which annoys me enough not to play it.

I'm also part way through Dead Space, and have DS2 sitting here (I've been buying up classic games at bargain prices via Amazon, eBay and Sainsburys - which have some totally random and brilliant deals on).

And I picked up Bulletstorm yesterday.

Lollipop chanisaw. Very much like no more heroes in style and gameplay. I like it, the battle system is a little simple but the presentation is top notch.

This post shows I need to suck it up and get gaming  I know it's a 'what you are playing' thread but here is my 'I really should get down and play' list:

Dead Space 2
Finally Finish the orange box (I still have ep 1 & 2 to do and I still think HL2 was one of the most enjoyable games I've played in recent years)
Actually give Resi 5 ANOTHER bash and stop being a baby about AI nobness
At least get Deus Ex in the tray even if just to see that it works (same with Lost Planet 2 and Homefront)

I am at least stciking with Alpha Protocol at the moment, it's good censored.....literally

I'm far too OCD to get a game and not test it - the first thing I do (normally still in the shop) is check for visible scratches (since going through five sealed 2 disc sets of Terminator sometime around 2001, all of which were damaged in transit. Ironically I didn't actually try and *watch* the film until last year, by which time dvd rot had totalled the discs). After that I rip the disc to the 360 to ensure it will read.
OCD sucks.

Re: Resi 5 is worth persevering with; as I've written elsewhere, it seems to build and build, becoming better over the second half. I made the mistake of carrying too many weapons and never having enough free slots for ammo and health pick-ups...

GTA: Liberty City Stories.

I haven't played this for a couple of years, and I didn't get overly far when I first got it. I'm hoping to actually play it to the end this time.

Resi 4 on GC. It's good but doesn't feel like a Resi. Evil game at all. 'think I'd rather be shootin' and dodgin' zombies again....

Condemned 2 on the 360. Haven't played this in years and only decided to give it another go as I only had a total of 10G gamerscore on it (I do find them a good way of keeping playing games you wouldn't otherwise). On the fourth level but to be honest I'm finding it very hard to enjoy. I just cannot get the hang of the combat system, and have already suffered many deaths from being cornered and battered to death in seconds

Cannon Spike on the DC. First time I've really played it. It's a bit...short isn't it? I managed to get through it 4 times last night whilst reviewing it, the review taking longer than a play through. It's alright, bit of fun I guess, but far too short and easy!

About to start a game of Plague inc on iOS. Need to beet the world on the first disease type yet - last night I lost because my disease killed all of its own hosts it was so deadly. There were only 320 people left alive in the whole world - they were in iceland (not the shop).

I had exactly the same problem with the game when I tried it recently. I don't think I cleared the first level in the end, the combat is odd - I can't combo as the game either does the hits to slow (so the enemy smacks you out of it) or it reads the input incorrectly and it does the QTE move instead. That and those damn black inkish enemies which are near impossible to see (doesn't help the game is extremely dark!). Its a really disappointing game compared to the original...

I'm pretty addicted to Everybodys Tennis on the PSP... What a great title.. well worth £5.... love the RPG elements and the simple story...Feles just right.

Otherwise, bit of BF3... for all my moans about it, I keep going back and have found myself in some good squads lately, which makes or breaks the experience to be honest.

i finally got round to finishing off uncharted 3. moved on to williams pinball classics, and getting into that. quite good fun. also started playing through ICO. missed it first time round, and it's been lurking on my shelf for awhile. i'm enjoying it so far on the whole, but whoever designed that waterwheel bit should be shot.
