Well, Trip World would be the obvious answer but even cart only that tends to fetch 70+ lately. But the list of German exclusives is over 30 titles long with gems like Avenging Spirit, Altered Space, Bubble Bobble 2, Dig Dug, Ninja Boy, Popn Twinbee, Quarth, Sword of Hope and Xenon 2 on it. A few more if you include the Austrian/Swiss exclusives like Hammer Harry or Ninja Boy 2. Keep in mind though that almost all of these fetch a premium on ebay. Mega Man 4 and 5 might be German exclusives too but both are expensive.

Ok, game is called "French Military Game".
It was a 3rd party c64 game much like chess where you had to trap the foes main piece by surrounding it with your own.

Some how missed this post, sorry! I'm not too bothered about games that only got a PAL release in Germany if I can get a Japanese copy, like Trip World (boxed complete for £3 - back of the net!) I'm not sure Altered Space was German exclusive though, as I got a copy in England. Might have been an import, who knows.

From the screen shot it actually looks quite good, I've never played it though. Is the gameplay complete arse?
