Just looking through the ITH scores and wondered what does the star rating mean? It's between Score and Stage on the hi-score table.

It's just the number of stars you collect throughout the game. I'm sure there's a
Significant point to it score wise, but I haven't played it enough to find out. Mero has got a
Score of 1.4 million on this on another forum so he
Might be able to fill us in.

Oh yes, of course. I'd completely forgotten about the collectible stars.

The stars aren't anything to do with scoring, 100 stars = 1 extend.

When fully powered up, the power ups add 1 to the star counter as well.

This could be it from me. Not sure i'll have any more time before end of game to learn Stage 4 as it takes too long to get there and it's a bit of a slog this game.. Don't want to give up the chance to win the league at the last hurdle, but we'll see how time goes.

Never thought i'd beat the stage 3 boss but managed it on first credit today. Stage 3 boss caused me so much grief and all you have to do is stay far right.. missile the censored out of him.. duck to seabed when he attacks and repeat.. even on the his second phase it's a breeze. There you go.. i've given you all the key to beating my score.. bring it on

I couldn't resist the urge of chasing kollision's score. Some improvement.. No missed stages 1 & 2 and lost my first life on 3... managed to get to the stage 4 boss but he had me stuck in the top left and i couldn't take him out...

Yeah, well done on that Gmintyfresh. I mistakenly thought we had all of Monday to submit scores so I didn't get to give the game the final push I'd meant to. Not even started on V-V yet so likely no ITH score from me.

Yeah, well done on that Gmintyfresh. I mistakenly thought we had all of Monday to submit scores so I didn't get to give the game the final push I'd meant to. Not even started on V-V yet so likely no ITH score from me.

Cheers mate, had loads of fun with strikers, got a few V-V scores nothing to special yet will hit it after the 10th.

Slight improvment can see loads of scope for a higher score:

Woke up early to have a credit. No missed stages 1-3.. lost 2 lives sussing out the stage 4 boss. They all seem to have safe areas. This is a damn fun game once you get used to the pace of it. Didn't last very long in stage 5.
