As much as I enjoy score tournaments, in times of a crisis, degree comes first, gaming to unwind comes second, sleep comes third, keeping up-to-date on forums comes fourth, and at that point I'm already at 42 hours a day. I'll probably not take part in next month's at all, because I'll then be drinking a constant stream of Red Bull and frantically trying to finish the 15000 word dissertation required for my Final Year Project.

But I'm sure this league is the most important thing in your life, so you'd obviously be worried about the origins of users.

Certainly! That's why you're posting too isn't it? It's obviously important enough to you too if you're willing to interrupt your busy schedule to keep replying to whatever I post.

I promised Sel I'd stop posting, but your sarcasm is extremely irritating, and still makes you seem like an idiot. I've already stated the assignments were due in (and therefore finished) today, hence why I'll be posting a score this weekend.

Replying takes so little time it doesn't make any difference anyway. But ignoring you takes less time in the long run, so I think I'll do that instead.

Hope you two don't mind, but feel the need to post this...

I'm not taking sides here, but I really don't want the thread to descend into bitching and arguments, I'm enjoying the league so far. Maybe we should ignore it and let AmidstStorm talk to Vy?

A thread descending into bitching and arguments? On Retro Gamer? Surely not?

Okay. I've responded again, but I'm probably going to leave it at that. As I said before, posts like that really annoy me, so it's hard for me to ignore it. I'm done with that argument now anyway.

Absolutely not taking sides one way or another here, but it might ne best if you talk to AmidstStorm via PM? It would be a shame to see the thread descend into negativity. :)

Ha. Damned diplomats :P

I've held back on pretty much every subject I've had an issue with on the forum since I joined as I didn't want to start an incident, but I had to speak my mind sooner or later.

Apologies if I've spoiled the league. Picked a bad time to let loose I guess :P

So you've both pretty much stated that you don't want this to spill over into out-and-out childishness. So please stop. Pretty please?

Please do. Your pseudo-intellectual anti-sarcasm replies aren't as clever as you think they are.

.....oh geez, I'm not awake enough to deal with.... whatever the hell just happened here.

This, please.

Is there REALLY any need for this arguing?

It's just a gaming league sort of thing, and it's just for some fun and challenge.

A new day...

Just started playing Mars Matrix for the AvsG series. If anyone wants a gap filler before the new league game, get involved.

I dont think it got THAT bad.

....or even remotely close to that bad.

....or even somewhat close to being remotely close to that bad.

....or.... you get the picture.

Every time I think of that place I picture a bunch of maniacs running around with steak knives and screaming "SCANLIIIIIIIIINES!!!!!!!111" over and over.

Ahh, this is finally nearly done, this round.

Any ideas on what games might be nominated next?

Most likely not, but I'd enjoy Twin Cobra if something retro was wanted by all.

I'm thinking in the same light as sel feena as swinging towards psikyo games. Challenging and very playable and most certainly will keep most of us gripped for the 20 day period.

And screaming at the screen and launching controllers at ceiling fans, no doubt.

Be careful about WHICH ones you pick. I can think of two of them that are damn near impossible half the time. Strikers 1945+ and Space Bomber are best avoided for the purposes of this league.

Any of them is certainly fine with me though.
