The RGF Shmup League - Season #3 Game #2: taking nominations

A mighty score all the same Vyothric. Still just under 6 hours if you wanna squeeze the last bit of life out of it?

I was thinking about playing some more and trying to take down kollision but i've got work in 2 or so hours and that's not many credits.

ok so off to work. here's the speil on how nominations and pre game goes down as an easy recap for everyone:

Pre-game #4 overview:

- The top 5 ranking scorers for Sonic Wings 2 should PM me one game nomination for game #4.

- Once i've received all 5 nominations, I will post them up in post 2 of page. Also I will announce it as a new post.

- All players that submitted a score for Sonic Wings 2 will have 2 votes each to cast on the 5 games nominated.

- Players voting can either PM, email or text me their votes. Or, post them into the thread.

- In a case of a tie of votes, a re-vote on the games tied will be asked by all players.

- The deadline for nominations and votes is 23:59pm on the 16th April.

- If we haven't received all votes by this time, then the game with the current highest number of votes will become the game we will play. If games are tied on votes when the deadline hits, I will take some administrative stance and pick the game I feel will be best suited to the league.

- If we receive all votes and nominations before the deadline, then the game will start at 00:00am the next day.

- Game #4 is guaranteed to start at the latest, at 00:00am on the 17th April, and will go on til 23:59pm on the 6th May, UK GMT.

EDIT: After some self debate this morning whilst deciding how to list the League table if players were on the same points, I came up with this:

-If 2 players total league points are equal. The player with more ranking points takes the higher place in the table.
-If 2 players have equal ranking points and total points. The player who has the higher number of bonus points takes the higher place in the table.
-If 2 players have equal ranking points, total points and bonus points. The player who has played the most games takes the higher place in the table.
-If 2 players have equal ranking points, total points, bonus points and have played the same number of games. The player who was previously in a higher league position will hold it.

Confusing much?

I think this is the first cave nomination we've had since the league started. DoDonPachi isn't one I've played much tbh but I do have the Saturn version. One of the godfather's of bullet hell and insanely tough.

Hopefully get all the votes in by the end of the 13th and can start early. I've Pm'd reminders anyhow.

Edit: I personally need something a bit more tame after the intensity of Sonic Wings 2 and I know for a fact DoDonPachi being harder than Ketsui imo, makes SW2 seem like a walk in the park. So therefore ive retracted my vote for DoDonPachi.
