Jaguar - bought it on e-bay, modded it to output composite and audio (I didn't have a special cable) - within a few days put it in store with my other consoles - not looked at it since - only got Wolfenstein I like on it. Not the greatest system frankly.

I got a nomad off ebay a few years ago , eagerly ripped it open , had a quick go , then left it by the side of my bed , but i made the mistake of putting the power supply on top of the machine , my son who was only 3 at the time stood on the power pack / nomad , so he could climb onto the mattress , it cracked the screen right across , my own stupid fault , i was gutted and chucked it in the bin , cost £129.99 buy it now (plus postage) , spent approx 15 mins playing on it , owned it for around 3 hours.

Believe it or not mine was the PS3 - think I had it for about 3 weeks before realising I preferred my XBox 360 for games and Sony BD Player for movies... lol

Ended up trading it for a HTPC which has pretty much been used every day since I did the trade... lol

I am a total console freak and I never part with one once I've bought it but; up until 2 months ago I owned a original JAMMA arcade cab wich I had converted into a MAME cab for fun and I had to get rid of it because I was moving house. I tried to sell the thing but no buyers interested and the only offer I got was for someone to rent me a skip for the thing. So I bit the bullet and decided to send the thing off in style! I had a load of mates over for a weekend and got really drunk while battering the likes of Gauntlet and Golden Axe. And then on the sunday afternoon trashed the thing (Smashed it to bits!), I only kept the control pannel because i'd built it from scratch. Videos of this can be found on youtube(search for sions arcade cab). I shed a tear for it still it was the system I've owned for the least time (about 4 years) and it was just too bulky to move.

Sofa = bulky.

Bed = bulky.

Cab = not so bulky.

I don't get it.

I know I'm still kicking myself that I got rid of it! But it had to go I bought a flat with my girlfriend and it was just too big to move to the new place. I also got rid of 8 PC's as well and I ended up leaving my bed and loads of other furniture but its the cabinet I miss the most :(. But I have to say it taught me a lot having the cab. I now understand enough about JAMMA to build a supergun system from scratch and I kept the control pannel that can be used with a PC or XBOX so maybe one day I'll build a kick ass machine!

i had a Mega Drive for about 2-3 weeks....it bored the tits off me....all i had was an Afterburner (possibly 2), World Cup (like a crap Microprose Soccer), Sonic 1 (which was great at the time) and borrowed a copy of Golden Axe and Streets of Rage (which i was subjected to play round a friends regularly....still don't get the interest in the franchise). A machine i've never missed...oddly love my Dreamcast though

PS Hi to all, a regular at GTM...so thought i'd pop in here as i get this mag fairly often too.

i had a psp for about a month - the screen latency narked me off. had some good retro compilations for it - i just couldn't see them because of puke-o-vision.
also had a ds for about a week and hated it....but i got a free one recently and a few games - it changed my mind (i now don't hate it) - its ok but an expensive way to play sudoku....

I had my first PS2 for a day, got it home and it didn't work :( Swapped my PS1 for an N64 after about 18 months, bought another one a year later though.

The Turbo Grafx I bought at Byte Back. I've only used it a few times but bought no games for it as I don't have a clue which ones will work on it.

Game Boy Pocket. Bought it on friday to take on holiday, one week later I left it in the apartment in Spain as we were leaving.

I was really mad, but the maid in our place was really nice so I did cheer myself up a bit by the thought of her giving it to her son and him really liking it. Well, either that or she might have hocked it for crack.

GP2x - a few days. What a horrible console. The joystick must have been the worst I have ever used.
