A mate found a great bug in Championship Manager on the PC back in the day - pick up 35-year old players who have been greats in their day (George Weah was one of the ones he used to show me this bug) on free transfers towards the end of the season (this is before the transfer deadline was introduced).

Never play them. In the close season they will retire. However because the game needs to keep a constant pool of players it will create a new 16-year old player with a random name in your youth team and this player will have the stats of the 35 year old great as he was 20 years before. So you pay Old George Weah a couple of months salary, he retires with arthritis and then you get Young George Weah (with a different name) completely free!

Does anyone remember a game on PC called something like 'BMG' ??
It was a football manager game me and my brother used to play all the time because it was soooo addictive!

The most expensive player on there was 'Joey Beauchamp' who played for West Ham I think.

I would love to play it again but we had it on floppy disc and lost it :(

It would have been around the 1990-1994 years i think
