I'm loving how 'Tebow' has entered the venacular. Now it's a verb!

Half time entertainment by the Crown Jewels cheerleaders too. The number of non-mingers among them was easily as high as three. Chunky girls but enthusiastic.

Great shout, i remember that 1991 season, in the second game that year a homegrown player scored a touchdown late on in a game at Wembley which was a huge moment. That final was excellent with QB Stan Gelbaugh and K Phil Alexander. Phil Alexander was playing in front of 80 people at Wokingham Town (My hometown which i used to go and watch) and the next minute hes in front of 60,000 people at Wembley kicking. Amazing story.

There was one cheerleader, HUGE chest, apparently shes an actress now as they had a 'where did they go?' feature on the cheerleaders ages back in one of hte papers.[/quote]

Crunchy, you ledge! I can tell you what happened to the Kicker, a certain Mr Phil Alexander......he is very important at Crystal Palace Football Club....I had the good fortune to meet him and he is simply a top guy! That 1991 season was one of the most fun I had going to watch American Football and even though the WLAF was not the NFL.....people like Victor Ebubedike really made a name for themselves....watching London trounce teams and win the 1st final against the Barcelona Dragons was a bit special....YO GO MONARCHS!

However, my love of US Football goes back to 1982 and Mick Luckhurst playing for Atlanta.....a team I still follow today (you might well say we are overdue some success!)

I remember playing touch US Football at school as well......bags of fun.

As for that cheerleader.....I remember her well but if anyone knows what she is doing, or how she looks now.....do let us know! She had 2 reasons to watch her closely!!!

They actually did a 'where are they now' feature on Sky a year or two back. That big chested cheerleader i think is now an actress, seemed to be in a few BBC dramas etc.

When Victor Ebubedike scored that late touchdown against Orlando, that was a real special moment. Also he had a few moments for the Monarchs, at one stage seemed to be the featured back and scored on one 50 yard td for London.

I came into the sport in 1985, great times, if you search on youtube its brilliant when you hear the original Ch4 opening tune 'two tribes' with all the NFL action.

Mentioned it before, check out www.nfl.com/gamepass - love it ! Best thing i've bought in years ! Just have to avoid the scores of other games though.

Huge game for Oakland this weekend, nervous just thinking about it !

Gutted total heartbreaker last night i watched. Raiders up 27-14 with about 4 mins left, Detroit score, 27-21, start driving to run out the clock, 3rd down, this is the game, Palmer throws just a bit too far for Schilens who could still make the catch, doesnt, Raiders punt to the 2 yard line. Detroit basicaly move downfield and win the game with about 40 secs left, gutted

Just watching the condensed Raiders game now. Its a good job, for the Jets, that the Raisers lost after the Jets shambles of a performance.

Couldn't believe my eyes watching the Jets. Embarrassingly bad and the worst I have seen them play. Pretty much the whole team were poor, perhaps with the exception of Shonn Greene. Eagles have been flakey all season but they certainly did a good job making the Jets pay for mistakes last night. Typical, last week a great performance and probably the best of the year, albeit against KC, followed by a season low.

Nothing has really changed in terms of playoffs. IF Jets win the next 2 I believe they'll creep into the post season.

Yep just seen all the results. Jets looked terrible, still dont believe in Sanchez, hes very hot/cold this year.

The Pack game was weird, its like they werent too bothered and wanted that 'monkey' off their back, a bit like the Colts a few years ago when they were 13-0 and took their foot off the pedal (put in a backup QB against the Jets in the second half despite being 13-0)

Chiefs played well but i dont know, the Pack just seemed 'different' like they werent that fussed, probably not true at all but i watched the game and the Pack didnt have the same urgency

I watched the Texans vs Colts this morning. Entertaining game that came down to a real exciting final few minutes.

A big one tomorrow Giants vs Jets. At 6pm on Christmas eve though, there's no chance I'll get to enjoy it live. I may have to resort to having it on and catching glimpses of it, not satisfactory, or waiting until much later, maybe Christmas day when everyone else is snoozing, and watching then. Both teams have to win or it's season over. The stakes don't get much higher!

Jeez. that is one big game!!! I'm going to have to tune in.. hopefully it will fall in the Jets favour Matt.. I reckon they will be up for it.. win or bust.. they'll have to be..

I take it both teams play at Meadowlands?

SF against Seahawks, I would like to think we can go 12-3 but I won't hold my breath on these end of season games.. ;)

Cheers

Yep, both Play at the Meadowlands. Jets are the home team so the stadium will be set up for the Jets, they even make the lighting go green(!), the jets fans should outnumber the Giants and it should be awesome. I'd love to go to a game like this.

Seahawks have been ok haven't they? SF should do a job on them though. I still think they're looking good Boggy :)

 That'd be brilliant. Cost might be an issue for the states(!) but next years UK match I'd be up for.

My wife and I are thinking of having a trip to NY next year, maybe the year after. We're still deciding whether to go as a family or a romantic trip for me and Mrs MM ;) Either way, it'll be over a weekend when the Jets are at home :D
