Get some wonderfully surprising things at charity shops these days, yes?

Went into one down my road a few months ago, and spotted this:

When I asked them how much, they told me to just take it because they were trying to clear space!

I remember manta force, my bestfriend at school had that manta force base, we'd spend ages setting it up, fire everything off and that was it!!! Ah the great days of limited 80's toys lol

Still a cracking find and free...

I recently picked up a brand new Fisher Price Record Player for my wee boy. I remember having one as a kid with its plastic records.

I was another lego daft lad, never built anything on the box. I remember once building a football stadium with goals and players and whatnot, and I cant wait until Archie gets into lego(he's currently on the big chunky Duplo bricks).

Action man too,i used to want the Training Tower but never got it. My Di though(rip you tremendous man) got me the Pursuit Craft which was ace. Talking Commander and the blue pants, I miss those days.

Mr Hopper was good fun too,i see its making a wee comeback.

Mousetrap and Buckaroo, they took ages to set up for about 40 seconds of fun(sounds like my early sexual experiences).

I had Subbuteo but never enjoyed it due to my bony fingers.

Best toy ever though was the Zx speccy.

I had that Training Tower, I think I've still got most of the bits for it somewhere as well.

Nah, they're Dungeons & Dragons, rubbery bouncy toys, ideal for throwing at people!

Looking forward to seeing some Pogs, got thousands of the buggers here. All different, all in individual tubes, all in numerical order...

That thing is crying out to be modified with a PS1 and screen inside.
