I expect that's just your ignorance of modern music genres
You mentioned techno as a modern musical genre, to my mind it's around 30 years old now... IE not modern... someone mentioned that you were a techno fan I just assumed you'd know your onions.
Obvioulsy personal taste is your human right but of the acts you list there would be only one I consider on a par with the Beetles and that is the Beach Boys.
Sorry but your statement that Jedward and N-Dubz are better than Crowded House is like a red rag to a bull to me... I can't see any consistancy in your posts. You claim to be a fan of the Beach Boys which were an act that championed harmony, melody and song structure, just like Crowded House and the Beetles so your statement about Jedward and N-DUBZ seems nonsensical, also someone said you were a techno fan (I admit I have not heard you say that yet) but you seem ignorant to Techno's roots and have claimed it is a modern musical genre...
Now Dubstep and Drum and Bass are modern musical genres but techno not really so. There are some massive Drum and Bass acts that are making some brilliant music at the moment, Subfocus, Pendulum, Magnetic Man and Chase and Status to name a few but personally I would have to say that none of them are on a par with the Beetles, but, hey, there's no accounting for personal I guess.
Incidently, did you like the Bee Gees?
