I'm also regretting not fishing out a empty mint condition megadrive box with bags/instructions etc out of a skip by work last week, as I I'd no use for it at the time.

I don't think they're worth anything so don't worry. I have the complete set in the binder and when I last checked out of curiosity, there was no value to it.
