I'll see you farqas on the morrow.
Surely you can find better things to waste your money on than a collection based on the worlds most over rated game?

It really was a great day. Hats off to Mat for making it all possible. It was a day full of cool memories, not least the brilliant talks.

Hi to Martyn Carroll, Paul Drury, Andrew Fisher and Shaun Bebbington - great to meet you all at long last. :D The friendliness and helpfulness of the gaming community never ceases to amaze.

Just got back, i stayed over but had to leave earlier today.

Excellent event, hats off to Witchfinder for doing it !

Had a good time meeting lots of people from the forum, jdanddiet, SirClive, Boggie, Marmito, PForson, Merman, Felgekarp, Antiriad and many more.

Really liked the Virtualboy which was there, as always the Vectrex is superb, i do have to get one of those one day ! Met a lot of good people and faces from various forums. Top it all off i had a takeaway curry on saturday night but as always i ordered too much !

Day went too quick though !

Bought a fair few games from the couple at Attic Bug who were great to talk to, good selection of games there. Really top weekend

Had a great weekend. My 17 year old son and his mate are now converts also...

Nice to meet up again with Boggy, SirClive, Felgercarp, Boyo, Woody, AndyRCM to name but a few....

Also nice to meet for the first time.... pforson, mohicankid, resident paul, witchfinder, Rinoa, uglifruit, psj3809, PubZombie, sscott, Antiriad2097 and probably a few others as well.

As usual the atmosphere was nice and friendly with plenty of systems and more importantly BEER.!

Highlights...

Seeing the look on AndyRCM's face when i handed over a Commodore 128D with thousands of 5 1/4 inch floppy discs...
Hope the museum gets some use out of it Andy.. :)

Getting beat in the first round of the Footy competition after a close 1,1 and extra time and golden goal... :)

The beer and the laughs..

And finally the one that completed my weekend... Seeing two gorgous 20+ year old Japanese girls completely in the buff :D
But thats another story..

I have photo's and movies that i will post up later...( of the event that is )

Cheers Mat for organising this and you handled the Auction magnificently... Loads to charity also.... :D

Just got back, had an excellent time.
Didn't want to come back though.

Witchfinder did an awesome job!

I met all the familiar faces I've seen before. Also, met a few bew people including Rinoa & partner as well as a few others.
I came away with some PC, Beeb and C16 games, for a snip, so I'm happy.

I entered the football game competition, got knocked out in the first round
However, I entered the fighting game contest, got right through to the final (quite easily too) but then got knocked out in the final :( but it was close.

I spent some time looking around the stalls in the other room, got talking with a few people and played Qwak on my Amiga with Jamie Woodhouse on the Saturday evening.

As I supplied the PA, I also recorded the Q&A sessions (well, most of them, anyway) so at some point, I'm gonna MP3 these and distribute them accordingly.

I'm back home safely too. Had an excellent time.

It was a pleasure to spend time with the little gang that seemed to form. JDandDiet, Antiriad2097, Mohicankid, PSJ, Marmito, PForson, BoggyB, JSW.

Uglifruit and his mates were a top laugh, Mr Jamma+ was on form as usual, nice to see Boyo again, RetroRik, MikeB, Slick, Woody, WoodyLite, Acorn4eva and all the others that were there.

Was a great show Matt. Only bad thing was that I missed out on the qbert art and a few other nice pieces in the auction.
