I have watched Watchmen - Good, but not the film I was expecting, and Deathproof - a bit bizarre and over stylised (tarantino getting too up himself) but enjoyable.

Surveillance (written & directed by David Lynch's daughter. And it shows!) - 8/10
Gran Torino - 9/10
Rec (Spanish, remade for Hollywood as Quarantine) - 9/10
Quarantine (see above, decent remake but please wait more than a year before remaking a film!!!!!!!) - 5/10 (it is decent but it's a total copy, virtually word for word & shot for shot).

Last thing I saw in the Cinema was Watchman.. I watched 'Carved The Slit Mouth Woman' yesterday Typical evil Tartan Asia/ japanese Horror, with the slit mouth woman looking like a cross between a female Baraka and Ichi the Killer which you'd want to cut your wrists after that.. Saw the Street Fighter 4 cartoon as well

I introduced my girlfriend to The Blues Brothers over the weekend as she'd never seen it. I shouldn't have bothered really, we had a bit of a falling out when she said that it was rubbish and that Moulin Rouge is better!

Marley and Me. Owen Wilson has possibly the most irritating voice i have ever heard. Apart form that the film was very funny although a bit serious in places.

Well sorry to hear you're now single but you can do far better than some girl who thinks the Blues Brothers is crap and Moulin Rouge is better ! ;)

I finished with a girlfriend once as her taste in music was so utterly bad i just couldnt stay with her ! She liked total chart rubbish, she hated any indie music, it was doomed from the start !
