Game of Thrones series 2 - I'm royally confused by it all, but the nudity is keeping it ticking along for me.

I watched the 4th episode of 'Touch'. This was much better than the 'dancer episode'. I then caught up with more 'Grim' and 'Homeland' - which as developed quite nicely now.

Just a heads up on the 'Homeland' front, 'Hatufim'(the original Israeli show on which is based) is coming to Sky Arts in May. Might be worth checking out.

I watched skyline last night. It was entertaining enough, worth a watch I suppose.

I caught up with 3 episodes of 'Justified'. The story has developed quite nicely. Seems to have come a long way since the first season which was loosely based on a short story.

^^I was talking to my manager on Thursday after Wednesdays episode and she reckons that this season gets even better in a couple of episodes.

I caught up with some 4OD stuff, one episode of Homeland and the final two episodes of the recent season of The Big C.

Now just need to catch up with two more episodes of Homeland and three episodes of The Good Wife.

I caught up with Tucker & Dale vs Evil last night. Thoroughly enjoyable movie that very cleverly plays on the 'Mad Hillbilly' Slasher type film. Well acted, likeable characters and humorous dialogue.

Next up is the prequel to The Thing, I'm mighty excited as The Thing is one of my all time fave movies. Just hope it's decent..

picked up "the howling reborn" the other day and finally got around to watching it tonight (SPOILER ALERT)

....teenage angst movie interspersed with warewolves, the last part of the film gets a bit comical with regard to the special effects...maybe ive been spoilt by to many horror films

all in all not that bad for a 'horror', but its b-movie level at best (it was straight to dvd after all)

I watched the whole of the first season of the French series 'Braquo'. It was on FX recently. It is a crime drama. Pretty good, but ended on a cliffhanger! Fortunately, the second season is starting next Sunday on FX. Anyone else seen it?

Warrior - Bit of a result that even the missus liked. Plenty of good MMA action, not a bad story, some decent acting. Yeah very impressed :D

Dragons forever
The sound on the DVD is great. One fight going on and another in the background on one speaker that moves round as the camera does

Ip Man 2. Great sequel as it concludes from the previous film. It was good to see Sammo Hung (also action director) in this one too as he's still in good shape to demonstrate Hung Fist (southern style martial arts originated from Shaolin temple). Incredible fight scenes as both Sammo and Donnie Yen delivered at such fluid speed to makes this film a must see. My minor criticism is the odd acting by British martial artist Darren Shahlavi (main antagonist), which doesn't feel right at all.

Brilliant film this one. It's funny how all three of them have to fight each other thanks to the use of slapstick comedy. Plus it'll be remembered for that duel between Jackie Chan and Benny Urquidez, who both previously fought in Wheels on Meals.

I was going to mention this as I caught about an hour or so of it the other night but couldnt remember the name of it. You are right about the main antagonist, some dodgy acting going on there and I was really glad to see him eventually get his head caved in as a result of it  . It was a decent film and it really reminded me of the Kickboxer/Bloodsport era. Made me smile so it did. I also liked the Bruce Lee touch at the end, I have no idea whether it was true or not but it was a good touch all the same.
