Yep, thats how I saw it. Neo was the Virus and agent Smith was the Matrix's equivalent of Norton or Kaspersky, until he got ideas of his own..

Watched Adventureland last night and Ratatouille tonight.

Liked Adventureland, though I thought that it was supposed to be more of a comedy than it was. Thought that Ratatouille was alright and that was about it.

what really irks me about the character of machete is the fact that the character originated from spy kids. it just boggles the mind!

Sky Atlantic are showing Mad Men Series 1 starting tonight at 9PM which I'm looking forward to seeing as I missed it the first time around.

I watched the film 'An Education with Carey Mulligan. It is a sort of coming-of-age story about a schoolgirl and her older lover. It was okay, but nothing special.

I then caught up with more of 'Prisoner of War' (on which 'Homeland' was adapted from). Really good stuff. Worthwhile seeing even if you have seen 'Homeland'.

Avengers (the cartoon)
What happened Spiderman? your voice sounds wrong and no wise cracks.

Hence is the age of Disney made Marvel shows

We will never see a Deadpool one

I watched half of the Human Centipede. This, to date, has been the only movie I have ever switched off half-way through. I have never before seen such horrendous acting and lame anti-climatic horror. Even when the titular centipede was created it was STILL utterly boring. It completely failed to deliver as a creepy horror and as a gross-out OTT exploitation flick. Utter garbage.

I then watched Hostel 3 which, to my surprise, was thoroughly enjoyable! With the setting switched to Vegas it helped the series feel fresh and the character writing was much, much better. Obviously it's not Academy Award material but at least this time there was a backstory and characters you could invest in, rather than a parade of genre cliches. The various kills were significantly toned down (imo, probably due to budgetary constraints) but it was still entertaining :)

Finally got round to watching Survival of the Dead, romeros 6th installment...and its just, MEH....didn't really go anywhere, had a tenuous link with Diary of the Dead and the effects and acting where just poo...I'm a massive fan of Night, Dawn and Day (and to a lesser extant Land, it has its moments) but just feel Diary and Survival should be his final installments and let the dead stay dead now.

Also recorded The Uninvited the other night off BBC, watched it, another meh...predictable scares although I didn't see the twist at the end which was ts only saving grace.

Disney swapped out the voice of Spiderman so they could use the guy that voices him in the new (and totally horrible) Ultimate Spiderman TV show. They were originally going to use the guy that voiced him in Spectacular Spidey (who did a great job).

Ditto on the Deadpool cartoon, I'd love if they did with him being a favourite of mine but they'd never greenlight a violent OTT cartoon about a lesser know Marvel character :( The best screentime he got was in the Wolverine Vs Hulk movie where he was portrayed perfect.

Anyone know of any decent new series coming out (or old ones starting again)? Dexter, Blue Bloods, Touch and the re-runs of six feet under have all finished and we need something new to watch. Only Awake is on and that's not got long to go. Missus doesn't do horror or anything supernatural.

Had a few friends who never fancied the Sopranos but finally gave it a go (On Sky Atlantic but you can get the boxed series quite cheap), the two girls who watched it totally loved it. If you can get your missus into that its a good thing !

Mad Men starts again tonight from Series 1 & I think that Flashpoint also started again from the very beginning in the past few days. Last night Prime Suspect USA started (not watched it yet), but it looks like it's already been cancelled.
