Hello,

My name's Mike, I'm 24, and I'm a freelance journalist and website editor from Cork, Ireland. :-)

Major retro fan, and have been since getting into games and working backwards through the history of the medium.

Perhaps committing a retro sin here, but your first console is always your fave, and mine is PS1, and I've accrued a healthy PAL collection over the years. Favourite games are Tekken 3, the Tombi! series, R-Type Delta and Parodius among others.

Also a major Saturn head, as well as the owner of a Dreamcast, Game Gear, Megadrive, PS2, N64, Wii, Gamecube, SNES, GameBoy Pocket, Color, Advance SP and NDS.

Been reading the mag for some time also, and am a collector of old PS1 mags Official UK PlayStation Magazine and PlayStation Power, so open to picking up any ye have lying spare around the place!

Nice to find the time to join this place and looking forward to hearty debate/lolz/etc.!

May as well.

My first computer was a Plus/4, soon followed by my longest serving friend an Amiga 500 till it's final guru. These days I'm probably more of a retro gamer than modern one, but only for lack of time. I try to play a bit of everything. Have a PS3 for my HD fix. I'm a long time member of Lemon Amiga and one of the games league mods. Also run my own fledgling site for adventure games - database and blog called Asio City (link on the right).

Surprised I haven't sussed this forum out before, but am hoping to chill out and soak up the wealth of experience.

Welcome Dave and The Polar One!

But despite the lovely name, I suspect you are a spammer Sinclair. See this contact lens? This contact lens represents you. My eye represents my eye. I've got my eye on you.

Edit: Bah, I knew he was a spammer!

Hi! My name is Ben. I am 13 and just started getting into retro gaming. Problem is I am from Australia and the Retro stores here barley sell any consoles and most games are expensive. I am hoping that NES and Atari 2600 consoles from America can play on Australian TVs so I can get them cheaper on Ebay.
