Aye, indeed. The frustrating thing was I could have returned to my usual job anytime I wanted, all I had to do was say the word. Doc didnt advise it though, not one bit, so I stayed 'strong' and looked for something else. And that took about a year!

Painted & decorated sprogs room today, only took me 18 months to get round to it

I'm fairly chuffed with the result, just need to put a new carpet in and get some curtains up and job's a good 'un..maybe in 2014.

Just had 3 days in Troon, enjoying driving the new brief, very quick for such a large motor. Love it :D

Picked up the keys to my new house this afternoon.

Its amazing how much different it looks to when I viewed it about 2 months ago. I must have been dreaming when I did as what will be the games room is actually a quarter of the size as what I though it was, so wont actually get much stuff in it

But most importantly the dining room is still big enough for a pool table

That's a damn shame.... :( I really liked it up there. I seem to recall that the day we left to go home Wet Wet Wet were doing a free concert in a park in Glasgow and the train station was heaving with totty. Ah....the good old days  1987 that was.

Trouble these days is no one employs what sane people would call an engineer. Engineers understand things. They employ trouble finders that look at a problem solving sheet and follow it.They call them engineers to make you feel better though. Unfortunatly engineers cost more. Not that it is their fault entirely though, you want the cheap option also don't you!
