I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but the Museum of Computing in Swindon are holding an event this weekend (on Saturday 14th April) to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Mario Kart (is it really 20 years?!?). I'm not affiliated with the museum, I've just visited a couple of times and I got an e-mail about it and I figured maybe some folks near Swindon might be interested in going along (I'd love to go but I'm not sure if I can make the journey from Torquay).
There is more about it on their web site
and they'll have Mario Kart on the SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Gameboy Advance, DS and 3DS. The event runs from 09:30 to 17:00 and admission is £2 for adults, £1 for children, £1.50 for concessions and a family ticket for £5.
