Eurocon 2010 - September 3-5

Postby Mayhem on Sun Mar 28, 2010 6:02 pm

We are pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for Eurocon 2010.

This is an annual event bringing together classic gaming fans from all around Europe. This year's event (the eleventh) will take place from 3rd-5th September 2010 in Manchester at the Lass O'Gowrie pub.

The event will include arcade machines, consoles and computers (all on freeplay) as well as a quiz, competitions, an auction, a display of rare UK machines supplied by the Retro Computer Museum and much more, including some surprises which will be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets cost £12. All profits will be donated to the Starlight charity.

Full details of the event, and a link to our online booking system, are available at http://www.eurocon.info

If you have any questions about the event, please contact the main organiser Jon Legg (jonlegg71@googlemail.com or via our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=2 ... 222&ref=ts)

I hope to be able to make this one. Can I suggest that as well as the topic being stickied, Mayhem puts the date and location in the topic title?

Date added to title, so if someone can sticky it, that would be great ;)

Time really, although I didn't really know I'd end up on gardening leave by this point rather than actually working. I've got days off for Eurocon and I'm away in the US over the summer for almost three weeks too. Plus another possible week in August and October to boot. Plus travelling up north is fairly expensive, I don't blame people not wanting to come south for events due to cost.

Tickets bought earlier - wasn't going to wait as I reckon this one will sell out fairly quickly :)

Further than me perhaps Woody, but then I'm somewhat expected to be at Eurocon now, especially if it's in the UK :P
