The sound on my PC. It randomly goes loud and quiet, so if it's reasonable loud, it might all of a sudden double in volume and scare the crap out of me. I've updated the sound drivers, but it seems it might be a hardware problem.

I recorded Nik Kershaw singing The Riddle live from the Radio 2 site, and it records the volume change :x

On the subject of bad drivers, I had a great one yesterday. Was driving along in a 40mph speed limit, past a school no less, with this Espace right on my tail. Coming up to the end of the speed limit, the Espace decides to overtake me, jumping early, of course.

Two things here:

1) The Espace was full of kids. Presumably their parents don't like them because...
2) They pulled out directly into the path of oncoming traffic. It was a straight road, I'm not sure how they didn't see the car.

Anyway, they slammed on brakes and pulled in in time, but it must have been close.

um - i'm assuming the lanes were marked to say use the outside lane to go straight over..? pretty sure i was taught you should stay in the left hand lane for going straight over unless it's otherwise indicated on the road

Newspapers using people's Twitter feeds as "sources".

"One Twitter user stated '....'"
"A Tweeter commented that '..."

etc etc

They may as well be saying, "some drunken bellend was heard in the street ranting the following to nobody in particular...."

Anything before and including 12 oclock, stay in the left hand lane. Anything past 12 oclock, right hand lane. Multiple lanes? Read the road!

What if you hit the roundabout at 11:59? Quick thinking needed!

On a related note, anyone who uses the word "amazeballs" should be garrotted.

AND...

A fiver to use a photo booth? Can they at least make me look like Brad Pitt for that price, instead of something from a George A. Romero film?

Yes, I was in the outside lane to go straight on and the other car on the inside lane decided to cut in front at the last minute to go straight on when it was in the lane for turning right.

Still, it was nothing on the time I was on a 4 lane island and a car on the very inside lane suddenly powered across all 4 lanes in front of cars to take a left exit

Yep, this happens all the time. Same with comments people leave on Facebook.

"Someone commented on Facebook....."

This is not news or real opinion!! Shoddy journalism. Churnalism.

My lying ISP, came home today to an email that says they tired to call me (no missed calls on the land line or moby) The email then says I have to provide 3 time slots for an tech to vist (despite me telling them there is only one time slot I could do). The real kicker is that if they find a "fault" with my equipment on line then I will get charged £60 :(
