Does the idiot not realise the date and time of the edit are at the bottom of the page... w@nker...

I fully agree with sexyWayne on this one. Everyone i know from the Blackcountry says Mom, and have done for at least the last 42 years that i know to  . In fact, i'm sure she still has a few cards i made for her in Primary school that say MOM on them. I didn't even know it was supposed to be an American term.

Saying 'mom' and writing it are two different things. If we all wrote in our dialects the forum would be illegible.

Especially if you're from Dudley... it would probably go something along the lines of: I core goo up to Dudlay today, or I doe wanna goo to scuel today

Scottish accents are the ones that get me though, my Scottish relatives are from Aberdeen and I can understand them perfectly, then I have a friend of a friend from Fife and I can't understand the stuff she says half the time

Btw... in the West Mids we say mom exactly how its spelt

No, we don't, but then again Cov is only in the West Midlands after some dodgy voting scam years back, we used to be Warwickshire

Aren't they banned from advertising toys and stuff to kids because if a kid sees an advert they MUST be bought everything they see?

I cannot believe how anal some people are about the word mom. I am from the west mids and say mom, all of my family do, and almost everybody else I know does. If people don't like it they can go forth and multiply. I couldn't give a flying feck how people spell it or say it. Jesus, this place is going downhill.

Gears massively ground.

I don't give a monkeys if you say mom, I do give a monkeys when you say everyone in the west mids says mom - because I don't and no-one I know or speak to in Cov says that either.

So from reading my post you have come to the conclusion that I know everybody in the west midlands. What does not giving a monkeys about almost mean? You don't care about a word?
